Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. is "definitely more comfortable" this season, according to QB Kyler Murray. "I can see it out there on the field, and I think that'll only allow him to play faster, be the guy that we all know he can be," Murray said.
Huddle Up: Harrison fell short of his lofty expectations as a rookie, but he did finish with eight touchdowns. Even if he only takes a small step forward in his sophomore campaign, 1,000 yards and double-digit touchdowns are reasonable totals. He is safest to draft as a WR3, but WR2 production wouldn't be a surprise.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. caught six of his eight touchdown on first down plays last season.
Huddle Up: Harrison caught five red zone touchdowns in 2024 and was targeted often when the team passed on first down. He should continue to be a big part of the passing game for the Cardinals in his second season and can be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. is expected to "make a jump" in his second season, according to The Athletic's Doug Haller, who notes that Harrison has bulked up and that QB Kyler Murray says that Harrison has a "different confidence."
Huddle Up: Although he fell short of the sky-high expectations as a rookie, Harrison still ended the year with a solid 885 yards and eight touchdowns, which was good enough for 13th in the NFL. He'll once again be the primary option on the outside and a focal point of the passing game alongside Trey McBride. Fantasy owners can be an unforgiving lot, and the fact that he didn't set the league on fire immediately figures to push him down draft boards. There's still loads of potential here, though, so don't hesitate to grab Harrison as a low-end WR2 and hope he takes another step in his development.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. added a "little bit of muscle mass" and has "really (gone) to work" on some of the areas of his game he wanted to improve this offseason, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon. "I'm not going to speak truth into the universe, but just wait until this guy plays this year," Gannon told Mad Dog Sports Radio.
Huddle Up: It feels odd to say Harrison disappointed as a rookie when he finished with 885 yards and eight touchdowns, but the expectations for him were much higher. The primary issue for him was how often Arizona used him as a downfield receiver rather than taking advantage of his route-running ability. While there is no guarantee he will be used differently in 2025, it seems very likely he will command more targets than last year's 116. It would be shocking if he isn't a top 25 fantasy receiver in his second season.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. ranked fifth in the NFL with 17 end zone targets, and his 10 catches on passes thrown 20 or more yards down the field ranked second.
Huddle Up: With just 885 receiving yards, Harrison didn't live up to his lofty expectations. Still, he did finish with eight touchdowns and was clearly Kyler Murray's go-to target near the end zone. Consider Harrison a high-upside WR3 heading into his second season.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. caught five of his six targets for 63 yards and a touchdown in a 47-24 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 18.
Huddle Up: Harrison's rookie season didn't live up to expectations, but he did finish with eight touchdown receptions. He should be viewed as a WR3 heading into 2025, but if Kyler Murray decides to push the ball down the field more, Harrison could quickly vault into WR2 territory.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. caught six of his 10 targets for 96 yards in a 13-9 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 17.
Huddle Up: Harrison had been held below 50 receiving yards in each of three previous games, but the Cardinals threw the ball early and often against the Rams. It has been a bit of an underwhelming rookie year for Harrison, but his numbers should improve if the Cardinals throw the ball more in 2025.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. has caught only four of the 26 passes thrown to him on go or fade routes in 2024.
Huddle Up: Harrison's rookie year will undoubtedly go down as a disappointing one, but one of the first places to direct the blame is offensive coordinator Drew Petzing. While Harrison can certainly win on downfield routes such as the go and the fade, it is clearly not working this year. Moreover, Harrison is a tall receiver and a smooth route-runner, which means he should be seeing a ton of his usage in the intermediate part of the field. Expect Petzing & Co. to do better with Harrison in Year 2.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. ended up with two receptions for 32 yards on six targets in Week 15 against the New England Patriots.
Huddle Up: Harrison has managed 60 or fewer receiving yards in each of the past six games, and he hasn't scored in the past two outings. He might be hitting a rookie wall. Treat him as more of a low-end WR3 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams heading into Week 16 at Carolina.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. caught four of his eight targets for 49 yards in a 30-18 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14.
Huddle Up: He finished second on the team in targets, but Harrison and Kyler Murray just can't seem to connect on big plays on a regular basis. The rookie shouldn't be counted on to be more than a WR3.
