Chicago Bears TE Joel Wilson and RB Kyle Monangai were identified by head coach Ben Johnson as two of the players who have stood out on offense this spring.
Huddle Up: It is a bit surprising to see Johnson mention Wilson, if only because he is on his fifth team since being an undrafted free agent in 2023. He will also be no better than the third tight end on this roster behind first-round draft pick Colston Loveland and Cole Kmet. The more interesting shout-out is for Monangai, who is very much in the competition to handle the bruiser role in this offense if he can continue to show out. Monangai should very much be on the radar of dynasty managers right now and could be on the redraft radar if he plays well in the preseason.
