Los Angeles Chargers C Corey Linsley restructured his contract Monday, Feb. 19, to reduce his base salary from $11.5 million to the minimum for the 2024 season. The move creates $10.29 million in cap space, and if Linsley retires after June 1, the team can spread the dead cap hit over two years.

CB Deane Leonard (hamstring) and S JT Woods (undisclosed) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 29, and have also been ruled out. S Derwin James (hamstring) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. RB Austin Ekeler (ankle) was limited in practice all week and is also listed as doubtful. DE Joey Bosa (hamstring, toe) did not practice all week but is listed as questionable. S Alohi Gilman (heel) was upgraded to limited practice on Friday and is also listed as questionable. TE Gerald Everett (illness), LB Eric Kendricks (hamstring), LB Kenneth Murray (groin) and OT Rashawn Slater (ankle) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Also, TE Richard Rodgers (knee) did not practice and is questionable, and WR DeAndre Carter (quadriceps), C Will Clapp (shoulder), CB Michael Davis (knee), OG Zion Johnson (shoulder), C Corey Linsley (concussion), LB Kenneth Murray (hamstring), OT Jamaree Salyer (knee) and WR Mike Williams (ankle) all practiced in full and carry no designation into Sunday.
