Las Vegas Raiders OG Jordan Meredith (ankle) did not take part in practice on Friday, Dec. 20, and is doubtful for Week 16. Also, CB Sam Webb (back, illness), LB Kana'i Mauga (illness) and CB Nate Hobbs (illness) did not take part in practice and are questionable, and RB Alexander Mattison (neck), WR Jakobi Meyers (ankle), QB Aidan O'Connell (knee) and QB Desmond Ridder (hip) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

Las Vegas Raiders QB Desmond Ridder completed 23-of-39 passes for 208 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 15 against the Atlanta Falcons, while adding five rushes for a team-high 28 yards.
Huddle Up: Ridder, a third-round pick by the Falcons in 2022, came over to the Raiders in the offseason after the Falcons signed Kirk Cousins. The former pick was unable to exact revenge on his former organization in a low-scoring affair. He'll look to bounce back in Week 16 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Las Vegas Raiders QB Desmond Ridder is expected to start in Week 15 against the Atlanta Falcons. Head coach Antonio Pierce said the team is still waiting on the diagnosis for QB Aidan O'Connell (knee), but he said he expects Ridder start.
Huddle Up: Ridder was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, but the team quickly soured on him, inking free-agent QB Kirk Cousins this past offseason. Ridder will get a chance to pay his old team back on Monday night in Allegiant Stadium barring a miraculous recovery by O'Connell. Ridder would be nothing more than a QB2 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams if he officially gets the nod.

Las Vegas Raiders QB Desmond Ridder completed 12-of-18 passes for 101 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in relief of the injured QB Aidan O'Connell.
Huddle Up: O'Connell had his leg placed in an air cast before he was taken off, so it appears to be a serious injury. Ridder could get an opportunity to start if O'Connell is forced to miss time. However, he is only worth a look for those desperate for a low-end QB2 in fantasy leagues using two starting quarterbacks. Other than that, avoid.

Las Vegas Raiders QB Desmond Ridder completed 5-of-10 passes for 64 yards in Week 12 against the Denver Broncos, while running once for three yards after taking over for injured QB Gardner Minshew (collarbone).
Huddle Up: Minshew suffered a collarbone and is done for the season, but it sounds like Aidan O'Connell (thumb) will be able to return in time to start against the Chiefs on Black Friday. If not, Ridder would be the fallback option. In such a scenario, Ridder would hold zero fantasy appeal.

Las Vegas Raiders QB Gardner Minshew was benched during the Week 9 game and has been replaced by QB Desmond Ridder.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see if Minshew or Ridder will be the starting quarterback after the Week 10 bye. Fantasy players can avoid all of the Raiders quarterbacks moving forward.

Arizona Cardinals QB Desmond Ridder was signed off the practice squad by the Las Vegas Raiders on Tuesday, Oct. 22. QB Aidan O'Connell (finger) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list to make room for him on the roster.
