Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (ankle) said he is happy with the progress he has made since suffering his injury and is able to do most things at this point. He said he will be ready for the start of the regular season.
Huddle Up: Prescott is one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL when healthy and will have all of his weapons back in 2021. He should be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues as long as he is healthy.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (ankle) said he feels healthy and will be ready for the start of the regular season.
Huddle Up: Prescott was playing very well before suffering his season-ending injury and will have most of his pass catchers back next season. He should be a No. 1 quarterback in all fantasy leagues if he shows that he is healthy.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott received the exclusive franchise tag designation Tuesday, March 9.
Huddle Up: This move is merely procedural - making sure he doesn't get listed as an unrestricted free-agent - and ensures Prescott cannot be tagged again at the end of the four-year contract he agreed to on Monday. Assuming his recovery from the serious ankle injury he suffered in October continues to go swimmingly, fantasy owners should expect him to be one of the top five quarterbacks to come off the board this summer.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott reportedly agreed to terms on a four-year contract worth $160 million - including an NFL-record $66 million signing bonus and $126 million guaranteed - to remain with the team Monday, March 8, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Huddle Up: Schefter also added that Prescott's average earnings over the first three seasons will be $42 million. Prescott was playing at a very high level over the first month of the season before suffering a significant ankle injury in Week 5, if only because Dallas' dreadful defense put him in a spot where he almost had to throw for 400-plus yards and three touchdowns to keep his team in the game. The Cowboys obviously are pleased with his recovery, and fantasy owners should be prepared to see him be one of the first five quarterbacks off the board in most drafts this summer.

Impending free-agent QB Dak Prescott (ankle) is reportedly making such good progress from his ankle injury and subsequent surgeries that the Dallas Cowboys want to do a 'big-time, long-term deal now,' according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.
Huddle Up: Prescott still holds the leverage for now because he could choose to play 2021 out with a fully guaranteed $37.7 million under a second consecutive franchise tag, but he may feel a bit more urgency to get something done now than he did at this point last year considering the seriousness of the ankle injury he suffered. Either way, it seems much more likely the two sides get a long-term deal done this offseason than it did last year. If his ankle holds up, Prescott should return to high-end QB1 status in fantasy.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (ankle) had a second surgery on his ankle in December but it was not because of a setback in his recovery, according to a source. He should be ready for the start of training camp.
Huddle Up: Prescott will be a free agent this offseason, but the Cowboys are expected to use the franchise tag again if the two sides are not able to reach a long-term deal. Prescott has played well in the last several seasons and will be a No. 1 fantasy quarterback in 2021 if he is healthy.

Dallas Cowboys impending free-agent Dak Prescott is still far apart in his contract talks with the Cowboys, according to sources. The two sides remain interested in reaching a deal at some point.
Huddle Up: It seems like Prescott will receive the franchise tag again if the two sides can reach a deal in the next few weeks. He has played well when healthy over the last few season and will be a No. 1 fantasy quarterback in 2021 if he has recovered from his ankle injury.

The Dallas Cowboys are expected to make a push to sign QB Dak Prescott to a contract extension prior to the deadline for applying the franchise tag March 9, according to multiple sources. If the two sides are unable to agree to terms on an extension, the team would tag Prescott for a second time at a cost of approximately $37.7 million, in order to prevent him from becoming a free agent.
Huddle Up: Prescott was enjoying the best season of his career before sustaining a season-ending ankle injury in mid-October. However, he is on track in his recovery from surgery and should be viewed as a No. 1 quarterback option in all fantasy formats for next season.
