Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott's running ability has been frowned upon to a degree as owner Jerry Jones doesn't want him to run as much in order to remain healthy.
Huddle Up: Prescott is just the QB17 after finishing as the QB3 last season. He can still turn it around, and he had a 55-242-2 line on the ground. So that's not a huge factor, he just needs to improve upon the 10 TDs in seven games. View him as a mid-to-low-end QB1 for now.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott finished 25-of-38 for 243 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions in Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers. He also lost a yard on his only rushing attempt.
Huddle Up: Prescott tossed a pair of picks for the third straight game and the fourth time this season. His eight interceptions for the season leave him one shy of his total from 2023. It seems clear at this point that Prescott is trying too hard to compensate for the lack of a running game and a defense that isn't nearly as good as last season. Prescott will be a strong consideration as a low-end QB1 option in Week 9 versus the Atlanta Falcons, who have surrendered at least two passing touchdowns in four straight.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 17 of his 33 passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns in a 47-9 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 6.
Huddle Up: Prescott's rollercoaster of a season continues, and he now has three games with multiple touchdown passes and three games with multiple interceptions. Prescott has plenty of upside, but his lack of cosistency puts him at the lower end of the QB1 ranks.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott finished 29-of-42 for 352 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions in Week 5 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Prescott also added three yards on his only carry and lost a fumble.
Huddle Up: The Cowboys could only manage two field goals through three quarters before Prescott led a pair of lengthy drives in the fourth quarter to rally his team. The 31-year-old has thrown for two scores in three straight and averaged 317.3 yards passing over that stretch. There is a good chance he will need to approach those numbers in Week 6 against a Detroit Lions defense that has been stout versus the run but beatable through the air. Consider Prescott a low-end QB1 at worst in that matchup.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 22 of 27 passes for 221 yards, 2 touchdowns, and no interceptions versus the New York Giants on Thursday, Sept. 26. Prescott was also sacked once and logged two rushing attempts for minus-one yard.
Huddle Up: It was a bit of an odd game in that Dallas led most of the night, but the Giants seemingly always had the ball, limiting the Cowboys to 51 offensive snaps and just over 24 minutes of possession. The result was a pedestrian night from Prescott, who has thrown for 400 yards in Dallas' two wins and 672 yards in their two defeats. We'll see what the offense can do in what looks a tough upcoming stretch that features matchups with the Steelers, Lions, and 49ers over their next three games. For now, Prescott should still be viewed as a top-10 fantasy QB.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 28-of-51 passes for 379 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens, while posting two rushes for seven yards and a score.
Huddle Up: The Cowboys didn't get great results on the field for most of the game, but Prescott and the Dallas offense were on fire in the fourth quarter to make a furious comeback. Fantasy managers don't care when or how the points come, as long as they do. It was his first multi-TD game of the season, and first 300-yard game. He remains a solid low-end QB1 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 4 against the New York Giants on a short week.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott went 27-for-39 for 293 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2. He also rushed for 12 yards on two carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Prescott struggled with interceptions this week but should continue to be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues moving forward.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 19-of-32 passes for 179 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension with the Cowboys Sunday, Sept. 8, worth $240 million. The deal includes $231 million in guaranteed money.
Huddle Up: Prescott will be the Cowboys quarterback for the foreseeable future and will look to have another productive season in 2024. He likely will be a low-end No. 1 fantasy quarterback most weeks.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott has been having contract extension talks with the Cowboys, and executive vice president Stephen Jones said he hopes that Prescott and the Cowboys could come to an agreement in the new few days.
Huddle Up: It seems like Prescott and the Cowboys have talking about an extension for a while, so fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation to see if any agreement is reached in the near future. He is coming off a terrific 2023 season and can be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in fantasy leagues.
