Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer told the media on Tuesday, June 16, that QB Dak Prescott will be limited in team drills. He said it's nothing to be concerned about.
Huddle Up: Prescott should be fine for the regular season, so fantasy players shouldn't worry about him missing any time. He still projects as a QB1 in 2026 and has the potential to lift everyone around him in the Cowboys' offense.

Dallas Cowboys QBs Joe Milton and Sam Howell are getting equal reps in the competition for the backup job behind Dak Prescott.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott said he has been working out with WR George Pickens this offseason.
Huddle Up: Pickens received the franchise tag this offseason, but it is not known when he will sign his tender offer. Prescott and Pickens showed a terrific connection in 2025 and will both be weekly starting options in all leagues if Pickens is ready for Week 1.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott will likely be asked to restructure his contract this offseason so the team can create some salary cap space.
Huddle Up: Prescott is coming off a productive 2025 season and should have most of his pass catchers back next season. He will likely be No. 1 quarterback in all fantasy leagues next season.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott was blitzed 163 times during the 2025 regular season, which ranked second in the NFL.
Huddle Up: Prescott had two of the top receivers in the NFL this season and ranked third in the NFL with 4,552 passing yards and fourth in the league with 30 passing touchdowns. He should be a No. 1 quarterback in fantasy leagues next season.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 7-of-11 passes for 70 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 18 game against the New York Giants before giving way to QB Joe Milton III for the second half.
Huddle Up: There is nothing at stake for the Cowboys, or either of these teams, and this is the danger with playing fantasy championship games in Week 18, or using certain players on eliminated teams in DFS. There are so many landmines, with players being held out, resting early, etc. Prescott will be back in 2026, and he should be a low-end QB1 again for most fantasy managers.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott will play in the Week 18 game, according to head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
Huddle Up: The Cowboys have been eliminated from playoff contention, but Prescott will still see his normal workload during the game. He leads the league in passing yards and has thrown at least two touchdowns in five of his last seven games. He will be a No. 1 quarterback in all fantasy leagues.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 21 of 30 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-17 loss in Week 16 to the Los Angeles Chargers. He added 14 yards on two carries.
Huddle Up: Prescott threw a pair of touchdown passes on his first two drives but couldn't find the end zone thereafter. He was replaced by Joe Milton for the final drive of the game. With Dallas out of the playoff picture and Milton getting the last series in Week 16, fantasy managers should stay informed on Dak's status for Week 17.
