Free-agent RB Leonard Fournette (Bills) is "in the best shape of his career," according to his agent, who expects him to "have a new home soon."
Huddle Up: This is the standard agent talk for a client looking for a job. Fournette signed with the Buffalo Bills late last season in a move expected to give James Cook some help, but the artist formally known as "Lombardi Lenny" spent most of his time on the practice squad and barely played in the two games in which he saw action. It is a good bet that Fournette's days as a fantasy asset are over.

Buffalo Bills RB Leonard Fournette could potentially make this team debut this week, according to comments made on Friday, Nov. 17, by head coach Sean McDermott. "If (he's not activated from the practice squad) this week, then certainly in the weeks ahead, it's going to be a big-time consideration for us," McDermott said.
Huddle Up: Fournette was signed to the practice squad on Oct. 31, so the time should be nearing for the Bills to start using him if that was the plan a few weeks ago. Buffalo has had a fair amount of success running the ball this season - averaging 4.6 yards per carry as a team - but the commitment to stick with it has often been lacking. The reason Fournette could be attractive to fantasy managers is because he is very good as a receiver and Buffalo has not shown a great deal of commitment to James Cook. Deep-league managers should continue to stash in hopes that he takes over the lead job at some point in early December.
