Kansas City Chiefs DB Chamarri Conner (concussion) and OT D.J. Humphries (hamstring) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 16 against the Houston Texans. WR Marquise Brown (shoulder), C Creed Humphrey (ankle), PK Harrison Butker (knee), QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle) and OT Jawaan Taylor (knee) practiced in full all week and have been removed from the injury report.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle) practiced in full all week and no longer appears on the injury report for Week 16 against the Houston Texans.
Huddle Up: Head coach Andy Reid reportedly gave himself some wiggle room here earlier in the day, noting that he wanted to see Mahomes practice again on Thursday before making anything official. He must have liked what he saw. Nevertheless, it is semi-good news for Kansas City in that the Chiefs will not need to rely on Carson Wentz. On the other hand, Mahomes is extremely likely to be limited to the pocket behind what has been a shaky offensive line against a defense that has registered the second-most sacks in the league this season. As such, Mahomes is a dicey AND risky low-end QB1 play this week.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 18.
Huddle Up: Mahomes seems to be on track to play despite suffering the ankle injury in Week 15. He has played better during the second half of the season but should still only be an option in two-quarterback leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle) was a full participant at practice Tuesday, Dec. 17.
Huddle Up: A bit of a surprise considering there were reports of this being a potential multi-week injury, Mahomes is on track to play, barring a setback. Mahomes has just three QB1 performances this season, and the Texans have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game (13.6) over the last five weeks. Managers should consider Mahomes as a QB2 option this week.

Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle) is considered week to week due to a right ankle injury suffered in Week 15 against the Cleveland Browns. X-rays taken after the game were negative.
Huddle Up: Mahomes was pinned between two defenders, and he was bent around awkwardly in the second half of the win over the Browns. Carson Wentz is the backup, and he would get the start if Mahomes were to miss any playing time.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle) completed 19-of-38 passes for 159 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 15 against the Cleveland Browns, but he left the game in the fourth quarter after having his left ankle rolled up on awkwardly. QB Carson Wentz entered and finished up a 21-7 victory.
Huddle Up: The game was mostly decided, and the track was slick with rain showers in Cleveland, so that could have potentially played into the decision by Andy Reid to play it safe. The Chiefs wrapped up the AFC West Division, too, and while they're playing for playoff seeding, there is no sense risking Mahomes and potentially making an injury worse. We'll update the status for Mahomes for Week 16 and beyond when the team has its post-game presser.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle) suffered an ankle injury during the Week 15 game and is considered questionable to return.
Huddle Up: Mahomes will have one less day to recover from the injury, so his status for Week 16 is uncertain at this point. He is a starting option in two-quarterback leagues when healthy, but players may need another option ready is case he is held out.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes completed 24 of his 37 passes for 210 yards and a touchdown and added 17 rushing yards in a 19-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14.
Huddle Up: After a five-week stretch in which he amassed 12 TD passes had fantasy owners hoping he'd hit his stride, Mahomes has thrown a single TD passes in Weeks 13 and 14. With some solid defenses over the final month, the veteran looks like a low-end QB1 or strong QB2 the rest of the way.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes went 26-for-46 for 306 yards and one touchdown against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 13.
Huddle Up: Mahomes recorded only his second 300-yard game of the season this week but was held to one touchdown or less for the sixth time. He will be facing a good Los Angeles Chargers defense next week but is probably only a starting option in two-quarterback leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes completed 27-of-37 passes for 269 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 12 against the Carolina Panthers, while adding five rushes for 60 yards.
Huddle Up: Mahomes and the Chiefs got all they could handle in Carolina, but in the end, the star quarterback used his legs to set up the game-winning field goal with a 33-yard run, much to the delight of fantasy managers everywhere. He remains an obviously QB1 in all fantasy leagues heading into the Black Friday game in Week 13 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
