Buffalo Bills WR Curtis Samuel had one reception for three yards in Week 2 versus the Miami Dolphins. Samuel was targeted twice.
Huddle Up: Samuel, who had arguably the most name recognition among Buffalo's wideouts coming into this season, is off to a very slow start. Granted, they didn't throw much Thursday night with Josh Allen dealing with a hand injury, but anyone hoping the move away from Washington to a team with a real franchise quarterback would reinvigorate Samuel must be disappointed thus far.

Buffalo Bills WR Curtis Samuel caught two passes for 15 yards against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1. He was targeted two times during the game.

Buffalo Bills DE Javon Solomon (oblique) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 1 versus the Arizona Cardinals. DE Dawuane Smoot (toe) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 6, and is listed as questionable. S Cole Bishop (shoulder), TE Quintin Morris (shoulder), WR Curtis Samuel (toe) and QB Mitchell Trubisky (knee) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Buffalo Bills WR Curtis Samuel (toe) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 5.
Huddle Up: Samuel will be one of the starting receivers for the Bills and probably will see a decent amount of targets this week. He can be at least a flex option in most fantasy leagues.

Buffalo Bills WR Curtis Samuel (toe) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 4.
Huddle Up: Samuel is in line for a big role in the passing game after signing with the Bills this offseason. He probably will see a good amount of targets this week and could be a possible flex option in deeper leagues.

Buffalo Bills WRs Curtis Samuel (toe) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (neck) have "a real good chance" of playing in the season opener versus the Arizona Cardinals, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
Huddle Up: Samuel's return is the much more important one for fantasy purposes, although it is difficult to get overly excited about any receiver trying to return this quickly from turf toe. Fantasy managers are advised to keep him on the bench in most leagues and see how well he can push off his foot before considering him as a starting option in Week 2. Turf toe tends to linger and get worse as the season progresses if it is not allowed to fully heal, which makes Samuel something of a risky bet moving forward.

Buffalo Bills WR Curtis Samuel (toe) is considered week-to-week with turf toe, according to sources Monday, Aug. 19.
Huddle Up: Samuel figured to have a prominent role in the offense so this brings a bit more risk to his profile as a late-round sleeper. This should give a nice bump to Dalton Kincaid, Khalil Shakir and rookie Keon Coleman.

Buffalo Bills WR Curtis Samuel likely will be used in multiple ways in the offensive scheme this season, according to offensive coordinator Joe Brady. "He can play on the outside and on the inside. We can move him around as fast as it can be, just get him the ball in his hands and good things could happen. Whether he is playing receiver or running back, it really doesn't matter. It's just his versatility will be an asset to our offense," Brady said.
Huddle Up: It appears like Samuel will be a big part of the offense this season and could be a valuable option in fantasy leagues. He may not be a weekly starting option in most leagues but can be at least a flex option when the Bills have favorable matchups.

Buffalo Bills WR Curtis Samuel could be used out of the backfield this season by offensive coordinator Joe Brady, who utilized Samuel as a runner while the two were with the Carolina Panthers.
Huddle Up: Samuel saw a career-high 41 carries and ran for 200 yards in 2020 with Brady running the offense in Carolina. Samuel should already have a chance to carve out a solid role in the passing game thanks to Buffalo's overhauled receiving corps, and a few carries a game would only boost his value. He has upside as a flex option.

Free-agent WR Curtis Samuel (Commanders) agreed to terms on a three-year contract with the Buffalo Bills Thursday, March 14, worth $24 million, according to a source. The deal could be worth as much as $30 million and includes $15 million in guaranteed money.
Huddle Up: Samuel should have a good role in the passing game in 2024 after the Bills lost Gabe Davis in free agency. He is coming off a productive 2023 season and can be a No. 3 receiver in most fantasy leagues.
