New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara said he doesn't want to discuss a contract extension during the season.
Huddle Up: Kamara finished as the RB12 in 13 games last year, thanks in part, to his 75 catches out of the backfield. He has never rushed for 1,000 yards, but he remains a good combo back as an RB2.

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara is expected to participate in practice Wednesday, July 23, despite his contract situation, according to head coach Dennis Allen.

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara reported for the start of training camp despite his frustration over his contract situation, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Kamara skipped some of the team's mandatory minicamp practices, but it appears there will be no drama regarding his contract for now. The bigger question for Kamara is how he fits into new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak's scheme and how much work he will lose to 2023 draft pick Kendre Miller. Kamara's pass-game role should remain a key part of the offense, so fantasy managers should feel relatively good about his ability to deliver at a RB2 level.

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara may not report for the start of training camp if the Saints do not improve his contract situation, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Huddle Up: Kamara skipped some of the mandatory minicamp because of his contract situation, so fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation. He will be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues during the regular season.

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara skipped the team's final mandatory minicamp practice on Thursday, June 13, due to what is believed to be contract-related reasons, according to Jeff Duncan of NOLA.com.
Huddle Up: Kamara will get nearly a $10 million bump on his base salary over the last two years, so that is likely not the issue. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports the two sides have been discussing a contract restructure for a few months, likely with an eye on 2025 when Kamara is set to make $25 million. Expect the two sides to get something worked out over the next month or two to keep Kamara in New Orleans at a much lower number past this season.

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara is expected to participate in the mandatory minicamp this upcoming week, according to head coach Dennis Allen. Kamara did not report for the voluntary workouts this offseason.
Huddle Up: Kamara should be the main running back for the Saints again this season and should see plenty of touches each game. He should be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues this upcoming season.
