Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (neck, concussion) told 106.7 The Fan during his weekly radio appearance on Tuesday, Dec. 3, that he is still dealing with concussion symptoms and experiencing neck pain from the Week 12 hit that led to him being placed on the Reserve/Injured list.
Huddle Up: Ekeler noted he has yet to pass concussion protocol but expects to do so soon and is generally positive about the progress he has made since the hit. He is done for the fantasy season but could return for Week 18 or the first game of the playoffs if the Commanders make it that far. It is probably not a coincidence that Brian Robinson's two best fantasy efforts have come in the two games Ekeler has missed, so his fantasy managers should start him with more confidence than usual the rest of the way.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (concussion) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Nov. 30.
Huddle Up: Ekeler will have time to recover from his concussion and could return before the end of the regular season. Brian Robinson Jr. should receive most of the work at running back while Ekeler is sidelined and can be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (concussion) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 29, and has been ruled out for Week 13.
Huddle Up: Jeremy McNichols could see a few more touches behind Brian Robinson Jr. this week with Ekeler unavailable. Robinson can be a starting option in all leagues, while McNichols can be avoided in most leagues.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (concussion) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 28.
Huddle Up: Ekeler still has time to pass his concussion tests, so fantasy players can continue to monitor the situation. He is at least a flex option in fantasy leagues when healthy, but players need other options ready in case he sits out.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 27.
Huddle Up: Ekeler needs to pass his concussion tests before he is cleared to play, so his status for Week 13 is uncertain. He is a starting option in all leagues when healthy, but fantasy players should have other options ready in case he sits out.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol, head coach Dan Quinn said Monday, Nov. 25.
Huddle Up: Ekeler had a scary incident when he took a big hit to the head, but he was able to walk off the field under his own power. Managers will want to monitor this situation and potential scoop Jeremy McNichols off waivers as a potential spot start.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (concussion) suffered a concussion during the Week 12 game, according to head coach Dan Quinn.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation because both Ekeler and Brian Robinson Jr. suffered injuries during the game. Ekeler will have to pass the concussion tests before he can play, so he should be considered questionable for Week 12. Both Ekeler and Robinson are starting options when healthy.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler led the team in targets (9), receptions (8), and receiving yards (89) versus the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11. He also ran the ball twice for seven yards.
Huddle Up: On a night when the Eagles locked down Washington on the outside, Ekeler was Jayden Daniels' primary target, ultimately falling just shy of 100 total yards even with Brian Robinson back in action. The veteran back is a capable flex option that can creep into RB3 territory some weeks.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler ran 13 times for a team-high 44 yards and two touchdowns in Week 10 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, while adding a single 7-yard reception on two targets.
Huddle Up: Ekeler was taking advantage of the fact Brian Robinson Jr. was sidelined, and Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez Jr. could do nothing on the ground. Ekeler still has plenty left in the tank, and if he leads the backfield Thursday in Philadelphia, he could have some appeal as a RB3 or flex fantasy option.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler rushed for 42 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries against the New York Giants in Week 9. He also caught three passes for 41 yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Ekeler continues to be involved in both the running and passing game and has been productive in both parts of the offense. He should see a similar workload next week and can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.
