Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley has topped 100 rushing yards in 11 games this season, the most by any player in their first year with a team in NFL history.
Huddle Up: Barkley will sit out the season finale, but his first year in Philadelphia exceeded any reasonable expectations. Not only did he top 2,000 yards rushing, but he was one of the most consistent backs week in and week out.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley won't play in Week 18, as the team intends to rest its starters, per sources on Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: While the Eagles have nothing to play for, it is still a bit surprising Barkley won't play considering he's just 100 yards shy of Eric Dickerson's all-time record. Barkley ran behind the best offensive line he's ever had during his career and was fully unlocked in the Eagles' offense as a result. Kenneth Gainwell figures to handle the bulk of the work out of the Eagles' backfield in Week 18, making him a volume-based flex option.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley could play in the season finale in Week 18 as head coach Nick Sirianni said he'd talk to the front office and the players about whether Barkley will play. Barkley is 101 yards shy of breaking Eric Dickerson's NFL record of 2,105 yards rushing yards set in 1984.
Huddle Up: If Barkley plays, he'll obviously have a load enabling him to reach the 101 yards before being pulled. He's a must-start when he's in there, and that includes this week against the New York Giants. And how perfect would it be to break the record against his former team?

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley went over 2,000 rushing yards for the season during a 41-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys in in Week 17, rushing 31 times for 167 yards and adding two catches for two yards.
Huddle Up: Barkley enteres the season finale with a shot at setting the NFL single-season rushing record, but with the division title already in hand, there is a chance that the Eagles could rest or limit Barkley and other starters.
