Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton had just a single 26-yard reception on four targets in Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Huddle Up: Sutton is working with a rookie quarterback who is a little on the green side, so it's a slow go. The Denver offense is a work in progress, and there aren't a ton of must-start fantasy options in the Mile High City right now. Until QB Bo Nix settles down, or someone else steps up under center, Sutton's fantasy appeal is rather limited.

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton caught four of his 12 targets for 38 yards in a 26-20 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1.
Huddle Up: Sutton was clearly the No. 1 option in the passing game, but he will need better play from quarterback Bo Nix before the targets will translate to production on the field.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk would have been dealt to the Pittsburgh Steelers had San Francisco's trade offer for Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton been accepted. The 49ers offered the Broncos a third-round pick for Sutton before agreeing to an extension with Aiyuk.

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton agreed to a restructured contract that can pay him up to $15.2 million in 2024, including $1.5 million in new incentives, according to sources Thursday, July 25.
Huddle Up: Sutton should be viewed as a WR3 option in drafts given the shaky offense and questionable options at quarterback.

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton intends to report to the start of training camp despite his desire to receive a contract extension, according to comments from head coach Sean Payton on Tuesday, July 23.
Huddle Up: It has been an eventful offseason for Sutton, but it appears as if he will enter the preseason where he was at the end of the last season: as the Broncos' unquestioned top receiver. The biggest difference this year is that he is unlikely to benefit from the same kind of trust throws that Russell Wilson afforded him at times in 2023. Expect a mostly conservative offense led by either Jarrett Stidham or rookie first-round pick Bo Nix, which figures to make Sutton more of a hit-or-miss WR3 option in fantasy most weeks.

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton said he wants to stay with the Broncos for his entire career but is not ruling out the possibility of holding out of training camp depending on his contract situation.
Huddle Up: Sutton skipped the voluntary workouts because of his contract, so fantasy players will need to monitor the situation leading up to training camp. He will be a starter if he remains with the Broncos but may not be a strong fantasy option.

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton skipped voluntary organized team activities in May but told reporters on Thursday, June 6, that he will be present for mandatory minicamp next week.
Huddle Up: Sutton is expected to begin the season as the clear top receiver in Denver. However, head coach Sean Payton has talked up Marvin Mims enough this spring for fantasy managers to believe he can take that title from Sutton sooner rather than later. Regardless, Sutton should be - at worst - a serviceable WR4 with WR3 upside most weeks.

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton has been absent from the offseason workouts because he is looking for a new contract, but head coach Sean Payton said he expects Sutton to report for the mandatory minicamp next week.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players can monitor the situation to see if Sutton will be on the field next week or if he will hold out until training camp. He will be the main receiver for the Broncos if he remains with the team and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton is seeking a contract worth about $15-$16 million annually, according to ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler.
Huddle Up: Sutton had a 90-772-10 season last year and came in as the WR35 in PPR leagues. He'll be the top option to throw to in Denver, but there isn't a lot of upside there as a low-end WR3.

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton was not present for the voluntary workout Thursday, May 23.
Huddle Up: Sutton has been skipping the offseason workouts but likely will return to the team for their mandatory minicamp in a few weeks. He likely will be the main option in the passing game for the Broncos in 2024 and could be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues.
