Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert had been the center of trade speculation but wasn't dealt during the 2025 NFL Draft. General manager Howie Roseman was vague about the situation, according to the team press transcript. "Dallas is part of the team as we speak," Roseman said when asked if not drafting a tight end reflects upon Goedert's status. "Obviously, as we go forward, we're going to continue to address things on this team and right now nothing further."

The Philadelphia Eagles could be open to receiving future draft picks in a potential trade involving TE Dallas Goedert, if they don't receive 2025 NFL Draft capital, multiple sources told Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports.
Huddle Up: Goedert is entering the final year of his current contract and has been rumored to be on the trading block this offseason. Regardless of where he plays in 2025, he could be viewed as a low-end TE1 option in some fantasy leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert has received some trade interest from the New York Giants, according to ESPN.com's Jordan Raanan.
Huddle Up: It seems like Goedert will not be with the Eagles next season, so the Giants seemed to check on his availability. The Giants likely will be going with Theo Johnson as their starting tight end next season, but Goedert probably would have a role if he joined the team. Fantasy players should monitor Goedert's situation over the next few months because he could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in some leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert's uncertainty amid trade speculation won't impact how the franchise approaches the 2025 NFL Draft, according to Eagles general manager Howie Roseman on Tuesday, April 15. "The way we look at the draft is it's a separate entity to anything else that's going on," Roseman told reporters, via team transcript, when asked about the situation. "We've got to make good decisions in the draft based on who the players are that are available in the draft. We can't make up any positions and make them better than they're not. We have to really have a true process. So, it really doesn't affect us."

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert is reportedly available via trade, according to sources.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert is "by no means a slam dunk to return to Philly for an eighth season," according to The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane via a source.
Huddle Up: Considering the fact that the Eagles would take a bit of a hit by designating him as a post-June 1 cut, a release seems unlikely since their cap savings of just over four $4 million would be overshadowed by a dead cap hit of almost $8 million. Since Goedert is set to become a free agent after this season, it makes more sense to let Goedert play out the final year of his deal.
