Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase and WR Tee Higgins are not participating in the voluntary workouts this offseason.
Huddle Up: Chase probably will take part in at least the mandatory minicamp and should be ready to go for training camp. It is not known if Higgins will consider a holdout because of his contract situation, but he and Chase should be on the field for Week 1. Both will be weekly starting options in fantasy leagues.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins is believed be looking for around $23 million per season in his next contract, but the two sides have not negotiated for over a year because the Bengals have never approached $20 million per season during negotiations, according to The Cincinnati Enquirer's Kelsey Conway.
Huddle Up: Higgins appears to be entering his final season with the Bengals and likely will hit free agency next offseason. He will continue to be a big part of Cincinnati's passing game and should be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins said he anticipates playing for the Bengals during the 2024 season, he told reporters Sunday, April 14. Higgins was franchise-tagged this offseason.
Huddle Up: There has been much debate about Higgins' future after the team applied the franchise tag. They still have until July to get a long-term deal done, or Higgins can sign the franchise tag. If he's back with the Bengals in 2024, he's a locked-and-loaded WR2.

Cincinnati Bengals franchise free-agent WR Tee Higgins has not had any contract extension talks with the Bengals this offseason, a source told ESPN.com's Matt Miller.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation because Higgins could hold out a while if he does not receive a contract extension. He is a weekly fantasy option when he is active, but fantasy players may want other good options available for their lineups next season.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins is in the team's plans for 2024, head coach Zac Taylor said on Monday, March 25.

Cincinnati Bengals franchise free-agent WR Tee Higgins has asked for a trade this offseason, and the Bengals are believed to be willing to listen to possible offers for Higgins, according to ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler.
Huddle Up: Several teams are looking for wide receiver help, so the Bengals should receive a good return if they decide to trade Higgins. Higgins should be a starter no matter where he plays in 2024 and can be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins has requested a trade Monday, March 11. Higgins wanted to work on a long-term extension before receiving the franchise tag and claims that there haven't been substantial contract talks since March 2023.
Huddle Up: Higgins had a 42-656-5 line over 12 games last season and is a solid WR2 in fantasy, but he has yet to really solidify himself as an elite player. Could he do that elsewhere? Perhaps, but he'll be drafted as a WR2.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins could be a candidate to be traded after receiving the franchise tag, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano on Sunday, March 3. "A lot of people in Indy seemed to think the reason the Bengals franchised Tee Higgins as early as they did was so they could trade him," Graziano said. "With a Ja'Marr Chase extension likely coming this offseason or next, Cincinnati might not be able to keep the band together around Joe Burrow much longer."

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins is a player that the team wants to keep around for the long-term, according to comments from director of player personnel Duke Tobin. "He's a good player. We want to keep him. We have resources to do that. We're a better team with Tee," Tobin told reporters at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Tuesday, Feb. 27.
Huddle Up: There has been some thought that the Bengals would trade Higgins after giving him the franchise tag recently, but Tobin's comments suggest that is not the team's plan right now. Assuming that is the case and he stays put, Higgins should remain a top-20 fantasy option. Unfortunately for his long-term fantasy stock, playing behind Ja'Marr Chase likely puts a cap on his upside. Chase's presence also means Higgins that while he will be one of the league's top second receivers, he will not be a featured receiver anytime soon.

Cincinnati Bengals impending free-agent WR Tee Higgins is expected to receive the franchise tag this offseason, according to The Athletic's Paul Dehner Jr.
Huddle Up: Higgins is one of the top free-agent receivers this offseason, but he will remain with the Bengals for at least one more season if he is tagged. Fantasy players can monitor the situation over the next month, but Higgins likely will be a weekly fantasy option no matter which team he plays for in 2024.
