Indianapolis Colts QB Joe Flacco completed 22-of-38 passes for 189 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Week 6 against the Tennessee Titans, and he also had a one-yard run on his only attempt.
Huddle Up: Flacco has completed 65.7% of his pass attempts with two or more touchdowns in his two starts and one relief appearance for the injured Anthony Richardson. More importantly, Flacco has led his real team to a 2-1 record, so there will likely be no rush to get Richardson back from injury. Flacco has proven to be a solid QB2 at 39 years of age, and he is not a terrible bye-week streamer option if your primary option is off.

Huddle Up: The Colts want to give Anthony Richardson another week to rest, so Flacco will be under center again. He has played well in relief over the last two games but should only be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues.

Huddle Up: QB Anthony Richardson (hip, oblique) was downgraded from questionable to doubtful Saturday, Oct. 5, despite being able to take part in all three of the team's practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. Although Flacco was solid in a relief performance against the Steelers in Week 4, going 16-for-26 with 168 passing yards and two touchdowns, he shouldn't be started outside of two-quarterback fantasy leagues or as a bye-week replacement.

Huddle Up: Assuming Flacco does get the start, it undoubtedly helps all things Indy passing game. He would be a fringe QB2.

Indianapolis Colts QB Joe Flacco completed 16-of-26 passes for 168 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers in relief of the injured QB Anthony Richardson (hip).
Huddle Up: Flacco caught lightning in a bottle down the stretch last season for Cleveland in place of the injured Deshaun Watson. He has proven he has a little bit left in the tank. If Richardson is forced to miss time, Flacco is likely to start, but he is best used as a QB2 in most fantasy formats. With bye weeks starting in Week 5, he could be a decent replacement option if he starts against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Free-agent QB Joe Flacco (Browns) agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Indianapolis Colts Wednesday, March 13, worth as much as $8.7 million, according to sources. The deal includes $4.5 million in guaranteed money.

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent QB Joe Flacco said he is he interested in re-signing with the Browns this offseason but also will look for a team that will give him the chance to play in 2024.
Huddle Up: Flacco likely will test free agency to see if he has a chance to compete for a starting job with a team this offseason, but it seems like there is a good chance he remains with the Browns if he must take a backup role. He played well as the starter for the Browns this past season but will not have fantasy value if he does not start for a team.

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent QB Joe Flacco is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the start of the new league year on March 13, but a return to Cleveland reportedly remains his first choice. To that end, his agent and the team met with each other at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine last week to discuss the possibility of him playing with the Browns for another season.
