Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford (ribs) suffered four cracked ribs during the Week 15 win over the San Francisco 49ers but continued to play through the injury, his wife, Kelly, announced on her podcast. During the Divisional Round loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Stafford aggravated the injury.
Huddle Up: Stafford will have more than enough time to properly heal ahead of the 2025 offseason program, should he plan on returning, as expected.

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford said he would take some time before deciding on his NFL future, following the playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday, Jan. 19, but he added that he "sure feels like" that he has football left in him.
Huddle Up: If Stafford does decided to call it a career, it could hurt the value of Puka Nacua the most of any player on the Rams' roster. Nacua has been a WR1 with Stafford under center, but transitioning to a new quarterback always comes with some unknowns.

The Los Angeles Rams topped the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC wild-card game, led by QB Matthew Stafford who was 19-of-27 for 209 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford (coach's decision) practiced in full on Friday, Jan. 3, but is doubtful for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Stafford is healthy but the Rams are resting their key starters this week with nothing to play for. Jimmy Garoppolo will get the start but is nothing more than a desperation QB2 play.

Los Angeles Rams OT Rob Havenstein (shoulder) did not take part in practice on Friday, Jan. 3, and was ruled out for Week 18. In addition, QB Matthew Stafford (coach's decision), WR Puka Nacua (coach's decision), WR Cooper Kupp (coach's decision), RB Kyren Williams (coach's decision), OT Alaric Jackson (coach's decision) and OG Kevin Dotson (coach's decision) practiced in full but are doubtful and WR Jordan Whittington (ankle) and WR Tutu Atwell (personal) practiced in full and carry no designation.

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford, WR Puka Nacua, WR Cooper Kupp, RB Kyren Williams, OT Alaric Jackson and OG Kevin Dotson will not be active in Week 18 against the Seattle Seahawks, according to head coach Sean McVay. Additionally, OT Rob Havenstein (shoulder) will not play due to a shoulder injury.
Huddle Up: Even though the Rams are not locked into their current No. 3 seed, they are guaranteed at least one home playoff game and opting to rest most of their best offensive players. Jimmy Garoppolo will get the nod at quarterback, Blake Corum should expect to get a lot of work at running back and Jordan Whittington and Tutu Atwell should be among the receivers who get the biggest bump in playing time. While the others can likely be ignored in most fantasy leagues, Corum should be in a great position to deliver RB1 production.

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford will not play in the Week 18 game, according to head coach Sean McVay. QB Jimmy Garoppolo will be the starting quarterback for the game.
Huddle Up: Garoppolo has not received any playing time this season but has had some success earlier in his career. He should be avoided in most fantasy leagues but could be a possible option in some two-quarterback leagues.

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay recently told the team's website that his team will always compete "relative to what is at risk." However, resting some of his most important players - such as Matthew Stafford, Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp - is "probably the direction that we will go" in Week 18 against the Seattle Seahawks.
Huddle Up: Jimmy Garoppolo and Blake Corum were two players that McVay pointed to in regards to seeing extended playing time in a game that will could affect the team's playoff seeding. The Rams secured the NFC West crown in Week 17, so they will either be a third or fourth seed in the NFC playoff bracket. So long as Williams is inactive this weekend, Corum should be viewed as a solid RB1 for managers competing for a fantasy title in Week 18.

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford failed to throw a touchdown for the second time in his last three games in a 13-9 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 17. He completed 17 of his 32 passes for 189 yards and rushed for 16 yards on six attempts.
Huddle Up: Even a return home couldn't help Stafford recapture the magic he had just a few weeks ago. He has now failed to throw a touchdown in six games this year, and for fantasy owners, Stafford picked the worst possible time to slump.
