Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts is expected to take "a big jump" in his second year in offensive coordinator Zac Robinson's system. "I'm expecting Kyle to take a big jump. You know, Year 2 of the system. Year 2 of understanding what we're trying to do offensively. All those things that come with it, so expecting a lot of good things from Kyle. He knows what he needs to work on with the details, some of the fundamentals and techniques, the consistency down in and down out, those are things we talk about with him and (tight ends coach Kevin) Koger talks about with him all the time is those finer details and that next level that he can take as a player. So I'm pumped for Kyle, can't wait to get on the field with him and that's going to be a lot of fun to see his growth," Robinson said.
Huddle Up: Pitts remains one of the great mysteries of the league since posting a 1,000-yard season as a rookie in 2021. Injuries contributed greatly to two of those disappointing seasons, while uneven quarterback play slowed him down as well. Still only 24 years old, Pitts should be entering his prime soon. The beauty of pursuing him in fantasy this season is that he should come as cheaply as he ever has, meaning he will probably be viewed as a TE2 in most leagues. The problem is exactly what Robinson suggested: it is not great for a player heading into his fifth season to still need so much work on the "finer details" of his position.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts should see a big jump in production this upcoming season because he will be more familiar with the offensive scheme, according to offensive coordinator Zac Robinson.
Huddle Up: Pitts is coming off a decent season with 602 yards and four touchdowns, but the team is likely expecting more from the former first-round pick. He should see a good amount of targets each game next season and can be a No. 1 tight end in leagues if he is more productive in the passing game.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts ended up with two receptions for 15 yards in Week 18 against the Carolina Panthers.
Huddle Up: Pitts wrapped up his disappointing campaign with 47 receptions, 602 yards and four touchdowns on 74 targets in 2024. He saw a slight decrease in receiving yardage from 2023, although his four touchdowns actually marked a career best. He has all the tools to be a TE1, but he just seems to be coming up short of his immense potential.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts had four receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown in a Week 17 loss to the Washington Commanders. He was targeted five times.
Huddle Up: Entering play on Sunday night, Pitts had managed seven receptions and 58 yards over his last five games combined. He finally got involved versus Washington, finishing second on the team in both receptions and receiving yards while scoring for the first time since Week 8. Given his size and talent, it's remarkable how little Pitts has done since his strong rookie year. He did log 70 yards versus Carolina in their earlier meeting, so he'd at least hold some desperation value in Sunday's rematch.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts had a lone 7-yard reception on two targets in Week 16 against the New York Giants.
Huddle Up: Pitts has mostly been a huge disappointment for fantasy managers and his real team since going for 68 receptions and 1,026 receiving yards in his rookie campaign of 2021. It will be hard to treat him as anything more than a TE2 with some upside in 2025.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts absorbed all four of his targets for 28 yards in Week 15 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Huddle Up: Pitts continues to be a huge disappointment from a fantasy perspective. This was actually his highest yardage total since Nov. 10, which tells you a little bit about how things have been going lately. He remains more of a TE2 in most leagues of 12 or more teams. The Falcons host the New York Giants in Week 16.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts caught one pass for 14 yards against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 14. He was targeted six times during the game.
Huddle Up: Pitts is on a cold streak with only 23 yards over the last three games. He should see a decent amount of targets next week and could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts was targeted two times during the Week 13 game against the Los Angeles Chargers but finished the game with zero receptions.
Huddle Up: Pitts has not been a big factor recently with 11 yards or less in three of the last four games. He is one of the better tight ends in the NFL when he is involved and can still be a starting option in fantasy leagues.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts ended up with a single 9-yard reception on three targets in Week 11 against the Denver Broncos.
Huddle Up: Pitts has been held out of the lineup in three straight games since his two-score effort in Week 8 at Tampa Bay. He has 11 or fewer receiving yards in two of his past three games, too, and that simply won't do. When the team returns from in Week 13, Pitts is back to TE2 fantasy status until further notice.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts caught four of his five targets for 55 yards in a 20-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 10.
