Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams posted 17 rushes for just 44 yards in Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers, and he had four receptions for only eight yards on five targets.
Huddle Up: Williams had a golden opportunity against a bad Carolina rush defense, but he managed just 2.6 yards per attempt. He gave way to Jaleel McLaughlin, who ran for 5.9 yards per attempt while also scoring on a catch. If Williams isn't careful, he could be back into a timeshare. Fantasy managers will want to be very careful with Williams heading into Week 9 in Baltimore, as McLaughlin could have earned himself a larger role.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams carried the ball 14 times for 88 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday, Oct. 17. He also caught three passes for 23 yards.
Huddle Up: With 111 yards and 2 TDs, this was easily Williams' best showing of the year, and arguably his best performance since he tore his ACL back in 2022. Before we break out the champagne, however, bear in mind that the Saints gave up 277 yards on the ground to the Buccaneers in Week 6, which included 136 from Sean Tucker, who now has 166 career rushing yards. New Orleans was thinned by injury and just generally exhausted as they played their third game in 10 days. So, despite a nice night for Williams, let's pump the brakes on viewing him as more than an RB3/flex option.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams rushed six times for 23 yards and caught three passes for 13 yards in a 23-16 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6. He also lost a fumble.
Huddle Up: While Williams wasn't much of a factor, he still led all Denver backs in carries and touches, and his lack of involvement was likely a result of 23-0 hole the Broncos dug themselves. Williams should remain a flex option moving forward.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams rushed 13 times for 61 yards and caught five passes for 50 yards in a 34-18 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5.
Huddle Up: After a slow start to the season, Williams has 29 carries and 36 total touches over the past two games. It looks like he is emerging as the focal point of the running game and a solid flex option for fantasy owners.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams rushed 16 times for a game-high 77 yards in Week 4 against the New York Jets, and he added two receptions for three yards on three targets.
Huddle Up: Williams had a dismal showing last week, but he was much better in the rain and slop in Week 4, averaging 4.8 yards per rushing attempt. He'll look to build upon the momentum in Week 5 at home against the Las Vegas Raiders. He is still more of a RB3 or flex fantasy play in leagues of 12 or more teams at this juncture.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams rushed five times for 12 yards in Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while adding four receptions for 29 yards on four targets.
Huddle Up: Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin took a backseat to Tyler Badie, who had nine runs for 70 yards to lead the Denver backfield. Williams has done nothing through three games, and he should be reserved in all fantasy leagues for now, but don't cut bait just yet.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams rushed 11 times for just 17 yards in Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, while absorbing all five of his targets for 48 yards.
Huddle Up: Williams was terrible in the run game, but at least he helped out his fantasy managers in PPR leagues with the five grabs and decent yardage total. He'll look to get on track in Week 3 at Tampa Bay, but that's another tough matchup. Treat him as more of a low-end RB3 or flex fantasy option for that road game.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams rushed eight times for 23 yards and caught one pass for zero yards in a 26-20 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams has slimmed down to his college playing weight of 220 pounds to begin training camp, according to head coach Sean Payton. "He looks trim and I thought he looked sharp today," Payton said.
Huddle Up: Williams struggled down the stretch last season, but it is worth noting that he was returning from a major knee injury. A strong training camp could put him atop a committee that is also likely to feature Audric Estime and Jaleel McLaughlin. If Williams does land the starting role, he would have RB2 potential.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams could be competing with RB Samaje Perine for the final running back spot on the roster, in the opinion of Troy Renck of The Denver Post.
Huddle Up: Williams was expected to be in the mix for the starting role, so it would be a surprise if he was left on the roster all together. However, Renck points out the Williams struggled at the end of the last season and wasn't drafted by the current staff. If Williams is cut, Audric Estime could end being a steal for fantasy owners.
