San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel is expected to be part of the team next season, according to general manager John Lynch.
Huddle Up: Samuel saw his numbers dip this season and finished with 670 receiving yards and only three touchdowns. He should be a solid option in the passing game for the 49ers next season and can be a starting fantasy option most weeks.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (rib, wrist) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 3, and has been ruled out for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall likely will be the main receivers in the passing game for the 49ers with Samuel sidelined. Both players should see a decent amount of targets and can be at least flex options in most leagues.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (rib, wrist) did not participate in practice Thursday, Jan. 2.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to keep an eye on the situation to see if Samuel will be available for the final game of the season. He is a big part of the offense when healthy and can be a starting option in fantasy leagues if he plays.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (ribs, wrist) did not practice Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Samuel has continued to play since injurying his wrist in Week 16, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him suit up for the finale. That being said, he has been a boom-or-bust option all year, and he won't have Brock Purdy under center in Week 18.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel carried the ball three times for 16 yards and recorded one reception for five yards and a touchdown in the Week 17 loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday, Dec. 30.
Huddle Up: Samuel found pay dirt for the second straight week, but he didn't do much else with the rest of his touches. In what has been an incredibly disappointing season for him, Samuel is nothing more than a boom-or-bust flex option in Week 18.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel caught seven of his nine targets for 96 yards and a touchdown and rushed five times for 25 yards in a 29-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 16.
Huddle Up: Samuel erupted after a rough patch that saw him held to 22 receiving yards or less in five straight games. He also scored for just the third time and set a season high in rushing yards. This is the type of performance fantasy owners were expecting out of Samuel on a regular basis.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel caught three passes (on seven targets) for 16 yards in a Week 15 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Samuel added two carries for three yards.
Huddle Up: After expressing some frustration about a lack of opportunities, Samuel didn't take advantage of his chances on Thursday night, most notably dropping a slant pass from Brock Purdy that looked like it would've ended up in the end zone. Ultimately, it was the continuation of a rough patch of play for Samuel, who has now gone five consecutive games without reaching the 25-yard mark as a receiver. We've seen what he's capable of, but you'd be rolling the dice in a big way by keeping him in your active lineup against the Dolphins in Week 16.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel ended up with two receptions for 22 yards in Week 14 against the Chicago Bears, while adding five runs for 13 yards.
Huddle Up: It was a slow go for Deebo, but he could be relied up to handle the ball even more out of the backfield with third-string running back Isaac Guerendo leaving the game late. If Guerendo joins Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason on the shelf, Samuel could see some added fantasy appeal in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Rams.
