Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs rushed 32 times for 151 yards and lost a fumble in a 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2.
Huddle Up: With Jordan Love injured, the Packers turned to Jacobs to lead the offense. Expect the Packers to follow the same script as long as Love is sidelined.

Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs (back) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 13, but is not on the injury report for Week 2.
Huddle Up: Jacobs may see a few more touches this week since the Packers may not throw much if Malik Willis is the starting quarterback. He should still be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love (knee) did not practice all week but is listed as questionable for Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts. WR MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) and WR Jayden Reed (calf, shin) were limited in practice on Friday, Sept. 13, and are also listed as questionable. CB Corey Ballentine (oblique), RB Josh Jacobs (back) and LB Quay Walker (groin) were limited in practice on Friday but no longer appear on the injury report. DL Kenny Clark (toe) and LB Edgerrin Cooper (knee) practiced in full on Friday and also have been removed from the injury report.

Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love (knee) did not practice on Thursday, Sept. 12. Also, DB Corey Ballentine (oblique), DL Kenny Clark (toe), RB Josh Jacobs (back), LB Quay Walker (groin) and RB MarShawn Lloyd were limited, and LB Edgerrin Cooper (knee) practiced in full.

Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs (back) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 11.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation to see if Jacobs will be able to play in Week 2. He probably will see a significant amount of touches if he plays because of Jordan Love's injury and should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs rushed 16 times for 84 yards and caught two passes for 20 yards in a 34-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1.

Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs recently told Dan Pompei of The Athletic that the Kansas City Chiefs "were trying (hard to get me)" in free agency this spring. "(The Chiefs) were trying to get me, but there was no way I was going there. I feel like once you are rivals with somebody, you have a genuine hate for them. I couldn't see myself in that color. And besides, I never wanted to be the guy that joined the dominant team. I want to be the guy that beats the dominant team," Jacobs said.
Huddle Up: Kudos to Jacobs for being a man of principle, maintaining his hatred for the Chiefs even after he was done with the Las Vegas Raiders. In all seriousness, he landed in a pretty good situation with the Packers. Jacobs would have likely been a solid fantasy RB1 with the Chiefs as well, but the good news is that his decision to sign with Green Bay allowed Isiah Pacheco to be a solid fantasy RB1 option as well.

Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs (groin) returned to practice Saturday, Aug. 3, after missing Thursday's session.

Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs (groin) missed practice due to a groin injury on Thursday, Aug. 1.
Huddle Up: Jacobs apparently did not leave practice early on Wednesday, so he is likely dealing with nothing more than soreness. While the fantasy community appears to be somewhat lukewarm on him following a disappointing 2023, Jacobs is a complete back who should be entering the best offensive environment of his career. Even if Green Bay trusts him with nothing more than the workload it used to give Aaron Jones, Jacobs should be no worse than a high-end RB2 most weeks.

Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs said he wants to show that he can be a bigger part of the passing game this season and is willing to be a blocker in the backfield in some situations.
Huddle Up: Jacobs will receive most of the carries in the running game this season but may also be involved in the passing game, which will help his fantasy value. He should be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.
