Free-agent CB Kendall Sheffield (Jets) signed an undisclosed contract with the Miami Dolphins on Monday, May 12.

Free-agent CB Kendall Sheffield (Jets) is participating in the Miami Dolphins rookie minicamp this weekend on a tryout basis.

New York Jets RB Kene Nwangwu (hand) was placed on injured reserve on Saturday, Dec. 14. Also, CB Kendall Sheffield was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster, WR Brandon Smith and TE Zack Kuntz were elevated from the practice squad for Week 15 and DL Takkarist McKinley was released from the practice squad.

New York Jets WR Allen Lazard (chest) and OL Wes Schweitzer (finger) were activated off injured reserve on Saturday, Dec. 7. Also, LB C.J. Mosley (neck) was placed on injured reserve, OL Connor McGovern was waived and DB Kendall Sheffield was elevated from the practice squad for Week 14.

New York Jets TE Anthony Firkser was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday, Oct. 19. Also, free-agent TE Brenden Bates was signed to the practice squad and CB Kendall Sheffield and S Jalen Mills were elevated from the practice squad for Week 7.

The team also placed DT Leki Fotu (undisclosed) and TE Kenny Yeboah (groin) were placed on the Reserve/Injured list and placed QB Jordan Travis (knee) on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list.

The New York Jets signed free-agent QB Adrian Martinez (Lions) and free-agent CB Kendall Sheffield (Titans) Saturday, July 27. In corresponding moves, CB Nehemiah Shelton and QB Ben Bryant were released.

Tennessee Titans WR Colton Dowell (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Jan. 6. Also, LB Tae Crowder and DB Kendall Sheffield were elevated from the practice squad to the active roster.

Tennessee Titans TE Josh Whyle (knee) was placed on injured reserve on Saturday, Dec. 30. In addition, DL Ross Blacklock was promoted to the active roster, LB Tae Crowder and DB Kendall Sheffield were elevated from the practice squad, DL Quinton Bohanna (personal) was downgraded to out and LB JoJo Domann (illness) was downgraded to questionable.
