Free-agent TE Stephen Carlson (Bears) signed with the Chicago Bears Thursday, March 13. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Chicago Bears TE Stephen Carlson (collarbone) was placed on injured reserve on Saturday, Sept. 28. Also, DL Byron Cowart and CB Tarvarius Moore were elevated from the practice squad for Week 4.

Chicago Bears TE Stephen Carlson (collarbone), DL Zacch Pickens (groin) and DB Terell Smith (hip) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 27, and have been ruled out for Week 4 versus the Los Angeles Rams. DL Andrew Billings (knee) and S Kevin Byard (back) were limited in practice on Friday and are listed as questionable. WR Keenan Allen (heel) was upgraded to a full practice on Friday but is also listed as questionable. FB Khari Blasingame (hand, knee), OG Nate Davis (groin), OT Braxton Jones (knee), TE Marcedes Lewis (rest), WR Rome Odunze (hip), DE Montez Sweat (elbow), DL Darrell Taylor (knee, illness) and OT Darnell Wright (back) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Chicago Bears QB Austin Reed, TE Brenden Bates, OL Theo Benedet, OT Jake Curhan, DE Jamree Kromah, DL Dashaun Mallory, LB Micah Baskerville, LB Carl Jones Jr., DB Leon Jones, DB Reddy Steward, S Ro Torrence, LS Cameron Lyons and P Corliss Waitman were waived Tuesday, Aug. 27. The team also released FB Khari Blasingame, WR Collin Johnson, TE Stephen Carlson, OT Aviante Collins, DT Byron Cowart and CB Tarvarius Moore. OT Larry Borom (ankle), DE Jake Martin (undisclosed) and WR Dante Pettis (undisclosed) were placed on the Reserve/Injured list with Borom and Martin designated to return later in the season.

Free-agent LB Micah Baskerville, TE Stephen Carlson, OG Jerome Carvin, S Adrian Colbert, OT Aviante Collins, DE Michael Dwumfour, DE Daniel Hardy, OT Roy Mbaeteka, OG Bill Murray and WR Nsimba Webster signed Reserve/Future contract with the Chicago Bears Monday, Jan. 8. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
