Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 11. He also caught three passes for 20 yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Montgomery continues to play well even though he is sharing playing time with Jahmyr Gibbs. He has rushed for four touchdowns in the last four games and should be a starting option in all leagues as long as he is healthy.

Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery had 12 carries, 32 yards, and a touchdown versus the Houston Texans in Week 10. He added a 24-yard catch on two targets.
Huddle Up: The touchdown was nice -- it was his eighth on the year -- but we also saw the continuation of a troubling trend with Montgomery rushing for less than 40 yards in a game for the third time in the past four weeks. He's supplemented it to a degree with decent receiving yards, but he's not a volume pass catcher, so that's not a safe source of value. The veteran is still a solid low-end RB2 type with a little upside, but his production has noticeably slowed following a hot start.

Huddle Up: Montgomery has recorded a rushing touchdown in six of his seven games this season and will continue to share playing time with Jahmyr Gibbs moving forward. He can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Huddle Up: Campbell had said earlier in the week that Montgomery is fine after he exited briefly with a knee issue last week. The Lions running back is a high-end RB2 entering Week 8.

Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery rushed for 31 yards on nine carries against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7 but also lost a fumble during the game. He also caught three passes for 39 yards against the Vikings.
Huddle Up: Montgomery missed some time during the game because of an injury but returned to post 70 total yards. He will be involved in the running and passing game next week and can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Huddle Up: It appears like Montgomery should be fine since he is back in the game, but fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation. He is a weekly starting option in all leagues when healthy.

Huddle Up: Montgomery was helped off the field, so fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see how long he will be sidelined. Jahmyr Gibbs likely will receive most of the work while Montgomery is sidelined and is a weekly starting option in all leagues.

Huddle Up: Montgomery has scored at least one rushing touchdown in every game this year, and despite splitting time with Jahmyr Gibbs, Montgomery has had no issues piling up solid numbers each week.

Updating a previous report, Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery's contract extension is for two years and $18.25 million, with $10.5 million in new guaranteed money, per source on Saturday, Oct. 12. The extension keeps Montgomery with Detroit through 2027.
