Las Vegas Raiders RB Alexander Mattison carried the ball 14 times for 15 yards (1.1 YPC) during the team's Week 8 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He added five receptions (on five targets) for 29 yards.
Huddle Up: Just in case you thought last week was a fluke, Mattison had 19 touches to two for Zamir White, so clearly he has become RB1 in Las Vegas. Las Vegas' offense isn't potent enough to push Mattison into the upper echelons of fantasy backs, but as long as the veteran keeps getting a lot of opportunities he's worth using as your No. 3 back or flex.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Alexander Mattison rushed 23 times for 92 yards and caught three passes for 31 yards in a 20-15 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7.
Huddle Up: Even with Zamir White back from injury, Mattison continued to handle a bulk of the backfield touches. It appears he has become the lead back for the Raiders, and the heavy workload gives him a decent floor as a flex play.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Alexander Mattison rushed 14 times for 33 yards and a touchdown and caught five passes for 32 yards in a 32-13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6.
Huddle Up: Mattison has been handling a bulk of the carries with Zamir White sidelined, and while he has been incredibly inefficient, Mattison's workload as a starter gives him flex potential.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Alexander Mattison rushed 15 times for 38 yards and caught two passes for 23 yards in a 34-18 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 5.
Huddle Up: Mattison drew the start in place of the injured Zamir White, and while he dominated the backfield touches, Mattison didn't exactly make the most of the opportunities. Even if White remains sidelined, Mattison is no more than a flex play.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Alexander Mattison deserves more reps, and he will receive them, according to head coach Antonio Pierce.
Huddle Up: Mattison had five carries for 60 yards in Week 4, and his role increase will directly impact Zamir White. White is the RB49 in PPR leagues while Mattison is the RB29. Mattison is a flex candidate with upside, and White is more of a depth back that maybe you could acquire on the cheap to handcuff to Mattison.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Alexander Mattison posted five rushed for a game-high 60 yards in Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns, and he did not have a reception on just one target.
Huddle Up: Mattison outgained Zamir White in rushing yardage despite 12 fewer carries. He could see a few more touches, particularly in the run game, heading into Week 5 against the Denver Broncos. If he is available, add Mattison as a reserve, but do not start him just yet.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Alexander Mattison rushed three times for seven yards and a touchdown in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers, and he added three receptions for three targets.
Huddle Up: Mattison could potentially see some additional opportunities going forward, although he appears to be a lot more useful as a receiver than as a runner. However, Zamir White is doing very little as the starting tailback, so the opportunities are there. It's a situation to watch closely.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Alexander Mattison rushed four times for just one yard in Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens, but he was able to least able to score his second touchdown of the season. He was not targeted in the pass game.
Huddle Up: Mattison scored his second touchdown in as many games, but his fantasy value remains rather minimal as long as Zamir White is getting the lion's share of the touches in the backfield. The Raiders host the Carolina Panthers in Week 3.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Alexander Mattison rushed five times for 19 yards and caught four of his six targets for 43 yards and a touchdown in a 22-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1.
Huddle Up: Zamir White led the backfield in carries, but Mattison delivered in the passing game. If White isn't able to deliver as the lead back, Mattison could see enough touches to become a flex option.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Alexander Mattison is "quietly having a very good camp," according to Vic Tafur of The Athletic.
Huddle Up: Madison has enjoyed some success at times in the NFL, but he has been more of a plodder than anything in recent years. Fantasy managers will get their chance to see if we are on the verge of seeing a new-and-improved version of Mattison in the coming weeks.
