New Orleans Saints WR Bryce Lance took advantage of his reps in 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 with Chris Olave and Jordyn Tyson limited in minicamp, in the opinion of Katherine Terrell of ESPN on Tuesday, June 23.
Huddle Up: Lance, who played his college football at North Dakota St., will likely have a long road to fantasy relevance ahead of him with numerous receivers in front of him, but his size (6-foot-3) and speed (4.34 40-yard dash) give New Orleans plenty to work with. You won't need to draft him for fantasy football this season, but Lance could be someone to add during the season if circumstances change.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave, who has not fully practiced since Week 17 of last season, will reportedly get off of blood thinners on June 29 to potentially be fully cleared for all football activities, according to a source on Tuesday, June 16. Olave has only done individual work during the Saints' offseason training program after missing Week 18 with a blood clot in his lung.
Huddle Up: Olave turned in his best season as a pro, finishing as the WR5 in fantasy last season with 100 receptions for 1,163 yards and nine touchdowns. The Saints' offense looks set with Tyler Shough at quarterback, plus New Orleans drafting WR Jordyn Tyson in the first round and adding Travis Etienne Jr. in free agency. Olave is still front and center as the top pass-catcher in the Saints' offense, so he'll be an easy pick as a WR1 for any fantasy squad in 2026.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave (illness) has been held out of team drills while he continues to recover from the blood clot that sidelined him at the end of last season, according to head coach Kellen Moore.
Huddle Up: Although the Saints are taking it easy with Olave, he has been participating in individual drills and reportedly gained muscle over the offseason. Expect Olave to be a full go for the start of the season, and he can be considered a strong WR2 with WR1 upside.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave gained 10 pounds of muscle ahead of OTAs.
Huddle Up: Olave is coming off the best year of his career, and with Tyler Shough showing promise at the quarterback position, he could be in for a bigger 2026 campaign. Olave will have WR1 upside.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave ranked 10th in the NFL with 82.5 receiving yards per game after QB Tyler Shough took over as the starting quarterback in Week 9.
Huddle Up: Despite missing the final game of the season with a blood clot, Olave set career highs across the board in 2025, finishing with 100 receptions on 156 targets for 1,163 yards and nine touchdowns. He ranked inside the top 10 in the NFL in all of those categories, and he needs to be considered a WR2 heading into 2026 drafts.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave (illness) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 2, and has been ruled out for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Olave is dealing with a medical issue but should not be sidelined for an extended period of time. He likely will participate in some offseason workouts. Dante Pettis and Kevin Austin are in line to be the starting receivers for the Saints in Week 18 but should only be possible flex options in deeper leagues. Juwan Johnson should see a few more targets and can be a starting option in all leagues.
