Washington Commanders TE Chig Okonkwo received interest from the Denver Broncos before deciding to sign with the Commanders, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Evan Engram is the leading candidate to be the starting tight end next season, but it seems like the team is looking for other options at the position. Engram will likely be a No. 2 fantasy tight end next season if keeps the starting job.

Impending free-agent TE Chig Okonkwo (Titans) reportedly agreed to terms on a three-year contract with the Washington Commanders on Wednesday, March 11. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Okonkwo heading to the Commanders will not do much to help his fantasy value. The team still has Zach Ertz on the roster, who will be their TE1.

Tennessee Titans impending free-agent TE Chig Okonkwo could be a target for the Washington Commanders, according to John Keim of ESPN.com.
Huddle Up: Okonkwo has been a safe bet for around 500 receiving yards during his four-year career, but he has never had more than three touchdown receptions in a season. Playing in an offense with Jayden Daniels could boost his upside, but Okonkwo projects as more of a TE2.

Tennessee Titans TE Chig Okonkwo caught two passes for two yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 18. He was targeted five times during the game.
Huddle Up: Okonkwo was a solid contributor in the Titans passing game this season but may be with a new team in 2026 since he will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The Titans may want to have Gunnar Helm as their starter and allow Okonkwo to join another team. He has a chance to be a starter with a team next season and will probably be a No. 2 fantasy tight end.

Tennessee Titans TE Chig Okonkwo posted three receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown on seven targets in Week 17 against the New Orleans Saints.
Huddle Up: Okonkwo has really jelled nicely with rookie Cam Ward lately. After having failed to find the end zone in his first 14 games, Okonkwo has scored in back-to-back games to serve as an unlikely star in the fantasy playoffs. He'll look to keep up the good work in Week 18 at Jacksonville.

Tennessee Titans TE Chig Okonkwo registered six receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown on a game-high eight targets in Week 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Huddle Up: Finally. Okonkwo had gone all season without a touchdown, with his last touchdown coming Nov. 24, 2024 in Houston. He actually hadn't had a touchdown in front of the home fans since Dec. 24, 2023 against the Seattle Seahawks. He remains a solid low-end TE1 in PPR leagues, with slightly lesser fantasy appeal in standard play.

Tennessee Titans TE Chig Okonkwo (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 18.
Huddle Up: Okonkwo tied a season high with his six targets last week but has been held to 40 yards or less in each of the last four games. He will likely see a similar workload this week but can be avoided in fantasy leagues.
