Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford rushed nine times for a team-high 47 yards in Week 5 against the Washington Commanders, while adding three receptions for two yards on his three targets.
Huddle Up: Ford and D'Onta Foreman split the backfield touches, and while each had decent yards per attempt (Ford - 5.2, Foreman - 4.9), Nick Chubb has returned to practice, and his return will be soon. Ford and Foreman will see a giant drop in touches and fantasy appeal once Chubb is back and up to speed.

Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford rushed 10 times for 58 yards in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders, and he added seven receptions for 27 yards on eight targets.
Huddle Up: Ford saw a decreased role in Week 2, but D'Onta Foreman has done nothing since, while Ford has picked up the pace. It appears he has risen to the challenge, and picked up the pace. However, while Ford appears to be well ahead of Foreman again on the depth chart, Nick Chubb is eligible to return in Week 5, and it could all be academic. If Chubb is healthy enough to play, he is the unquestioned starter.

Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford (knee) practiced in full on Friday, Sept. 27, after being limited the day before and was removed from the injury report.
Huddle Up: As has been the case with Cleveland's entire offense, Ford is off to a disappointing start to the season. That said, the Raiders have an awful run defense and are banged-up along the defensive line. Ford is worth a look as a flex play this week.

Cleveland Browns OT Jack Conklin (hamstring), TE David Njoku (ankle), RB Pierre Strong (hamstring) and OT Jedrick Wills (knee) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 27, and were ruled out for Week 4. Also, LB Jordan Hicks (ribs, elbow) was limited and is questionable, OT Dawand Jones (knee), OT James Hudson (shoulder) and DE Alex Wright (triceps) were limited but have no designation and OG Joel Bitonio (knee), OL Javion Cohen (back), RB Jerome Ford (knee), DE Myles Garrett (foot, Achilles, thigh), WR Jerry Jeudy (knee), LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (hand), DL Dalvin Tomlinson (thigh, rest), CB Denzel Ward (shoulder) and DB Mike Ford (knee) were full participants and carry no designation.

Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford (knee) was limited in practice on Thursday, Sept. 26, after not taking part the day before.
Huddle Up: Friday will tell the story for Ford, who has been very disappointing to begin the season. He's just a fringe flex play, at best, until further notice. If he sits, D'Onta Foreman enters the conversation as a flex option.

Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford (knee) was spotted at practice on Thursday, Sept. 26.
Huddle Up: Ford will almost certainly be listed as limited when the team releases its practice report in an hour or two, but it represents an upgrade on Wednesday's DNP. It has been an odd start to the season for Ford in terms of his usage, although some of the blame for his relative lack of production has been how beat up his offensive line has been. The offensive line is still enough of an issue that it might keep Ford from being anything more than a low-end RB2 against a Las Vegas Raiders defense that allowed Chuba Hubbard to have a field day last week.

Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 25.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see if Ford will be able to play in the Week 4 game. He has received most of the carries in the running game for the Browns this season and can be a flex option in fantasy leagues if he is cleared to play.

Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford (knee) will not practice on Wednesday, Sept. 25, head coach Kevin Stefanski said.
Huddle Up: This officially puts Ford's status up in the air for Week 4. If he doesn't play, D'Onta Foreman would be in line for more work. Unfortunately, like Ford, Foreman would be nothing more than a volume-based flex play.

Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford rushed 10 times for just 37 yards in Week 3 against the New York Giants, while adding three receptions for 33 yards on four targets.
Huddle Up: Well, the good news is that Ford didn't have to contend with D'Onta Foreman for carries, as the latter had just two attempts. However, Ford averaged just 3.7 yards per carry, and the clock is ticking before Nick Chubb is eligible to return in Week 5. Ford is a low-end RB3 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams heading into Las Vegas in Week 4.
