San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 20.
Huddle Up: Purdy is dealing with soreness in his shoulder but probably will be able to play this week as long as he does not suffer a setback. He is coming off his worst game of the season but has posted at least two total touchdowns in each of the last five games. He can be considered a starting option in fantasy leagues if active.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (shoulder) is dealing with some soreness in his right shoulder and is considered day-to-day.
Huddle Up: Purdy probably will miss some practice time this week, but it does not appear to be dealing with serious injury. He was held to a season-low 159 passing yards in the last game, but his running ability helps his fantasy value. He will be facing a good Green Bay Packers defense in Week 12 but could be a possible low-end No. 1 quarterback in some deeper leagues.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 21 of his 28 pass attempts for 159 yards, a touchdown and an interception in a 20-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 11. He also rushed five times for 40 yards and a score.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 25-of-36 passes for 353 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while running four times for 17 yards.
Huddle Up: Purdy had the benefit of Christian McCaffrey returning to the offense. While CMC didn't tear it up on the ground, he had six receptions out of the backfield, making life easier for Purdy. That's a huge development going forward, as long as McCaffrey can stay healthy. Purdy could be back in the low-end QB1 conversation heading into Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy faces the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10, and the Buccaneers are allowing the third-most passing yards per game and have given up the third-most touchdown passes.
Huddle Up: Purdy has thrown one touchdown or less in six of his eight games this season, but Tampa Bay's secondary has been vulnerable. Throw in the expected return of Christian McCaffery, and Purdy could be headed for a QB1 performance in Week 10.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy finished 18-of-26 for 260 yards and a touchdown in Week 8 against the Dallas Cowboys. Purdy also ran eight times for 56 yards and another score.
Huddle Up: Purdy has displayed an ability to do some damage with his legs this season, as his 210 yards on the ground through eight games are more than he had through his first 25 career outings. The 24-year-old has accounted for at least two scores in three straight and is proving he can produce without the entirety of a healthy supporting cast available. San Francisco heads on a bye before paying a visit to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and their awful secondary in Week 10. Purdy should be a solid QB1 option for that game.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 17-of-31 passes for 212 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs in a rematch of Super Bowl LVIII. Purdy did run eight times for 27 yards and two touchdowns to salvage the stat line.
Huddle Up: Purdy was error prone, but he also lost Deebo Samuel early due to illness, and Brandon Aiyuk exited the game with a serious knee injury, leaving Purdy to work with Ronnie Bell, Chris Conley, Jacob Cowing and Ricky Pearsall as his receiver corps. Purdy could be in for a big downgrade in terms of fantasy production, at least until Christian McCaffrey can make it back and give him another reliable pass catcher.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 18 of 28 passes for 255 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions in a 36-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday, Oct. 10. Purdy added 19 yards on four rushing attempts.
Huddle Up: Over the first five games of the season, Purdy racked up the yards (1,374; fourth-most in the NFL) but threw for more than one touchdown in a game just once. It underscores the tenuous nature of his value to fantasy owners since he doesn't offer much with his legs. When he throws for multiple scores, like he did Thursday night, Purdy is a possible midrange/low-end QB1. When he doesn't, he falls in the QB2 area. That will continue to be the case as the season wears on, so you'll want to pick your spots with Purdy based on matchups and hope he delivers. Looking ahead to Week 7, he gets a Super Bowl rematch with the Chiefs, a team he threw for 255 yards and 1 TD against back in February.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 19-of-35 passes for 244 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals, while running four times for 33 yards.
Huddle Up: Purdy has thrown for one or fewer touchdowns in four of his five games, he has just one 300-yard game and four interceptions. He has put up numbers closer to a QB2 for fantasy purposes. To be fair, he has had some injury issues with George Kittle, Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey missing time.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 15-of-27 passes for 288 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 4 against the New England Patriots, and he ran five times for 11 yards.
Huddle Up: Purdy has one or no touchdown passes in three of his four games so far. It's been a slow go, but he has also been without key skill position players for most every game. It also doesn't help that Christian McCaffrey remains sidelined indefinitely. Purdy has 288 or more passing yards in the past three games, but with the lack of TDs, he has been closer to QB2 fantasy status than QB1. He'll look to get things going against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5.
