San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed just 14 of his 31 pass attempts for 142 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception in a home loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday, Dec. 12. He ran once for three yards.
Huddle Up: While it wasn't quite the same as what we saw in Buffalo in Week 13, a driving rainfall did Purdy no favors on Thursday night. He completed a season-low 45.2% of his throws, and he went without a TD pass for the fourth time this year. A trip to Miami in Week 16 ensures better weather, but we'll see how focused the Niners are as a group with their playoff hopes all but extinguished. For now, Purdy has the look of a fringe QB1 option against the Dolphins.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 20-of-25 passes for 325 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 14 against the Chicago Bears, and he added 11 rushing yards on five attempts.
Huddle Up: It was night and day from his performance in the snow last week in Buffalo when he had less than 100 passing yards and no scores. It was his second 300-yard passing game in the past four outings. He'll look to keep up the good work against the Los Angeles Rams Thursday night. He had 292 yards and three touchdowns with 41 rushing yards in the first meeting with the Rams in Week 3.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy is expected to receive a contract extension during the upcoming offseason, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Huddle Up: Purdy has seen a drop in his numbers this season, but he has played without several of his pass catchers as the season has gone on. He can be a low-end No. 1 quarterback for the rest of the season and probably will be a No. 1 quarterback next season as well.

Huddle Up: Purdy carried a questionable tag into this game after missing last week's game. He was able to make it through the entire game without any setbacks due to his shoulder ailment, but snowy, icy and windy conditions certainly didn't help him or the 49ers. He'll look to get back on track in Week 14 against the Chicago Bears, but he'll be facing another strong defense.
