The team also released OL Ben Bartch, WR Robbie Chosen, OL Chris Hubbard, DL T.Y. McGill Jr., OL Brandon Parker, TE Eric Saubert, WR Trent Taylor, TE Logan Thomas, S Tracy Walker, DL Nick Williams and CB Rock Ya-Sin. LB Dre Greenlaw (Achilles) was placed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list and DT Kalia Davis (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list. Davis has been designated to return later in the season.

San Francisco 49ers DT Kalia Davis (knee) is scheduled to undergo knee surgery Thursday, Aug. 15, and is expected to miss at least the first half of the 2024 regular season, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan.
