Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs (shoulder) isn't a lock to return immediately after the Week 14 bye, head coach Shane Steichen said Monday, Dec. 2.
Huddle Up: Downs was inactive in the Week 13 win over the New England Patriots, and the Colts know he's their best weapon in the passing game. The Colts are on a bye so managers will have to wait it out one more week to see if there's a change in his status.

Indianapolis Colts OG Tanor Bortolini (concussion), WR Josh Downs (shoulder), WR Ashton Dulin (ankle) and OT Braden Smith (personal) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 13 versus the New England Patriots. WR Alec Pierce (foot) was upgraded to a full practice on Friday, Nov. 29, but is listed as questionable. LB Zaire Franklin (rest), DT DeForest Buckner (rest) and DT Grover Stewart (rest) did not practice on Friday but are expected to play. TE Mo Alie-Cox (neck), WR Michael Pittman Jr. (back), OT Bernhard Raimann (knee) and OG Dalton Tucker (knee) practiced in full on Friday and have been removed from the injury report.

Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs (shoulder) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 13 against the New England Patriots.
Huddle Up: Head coach Shane Steichen hinted that Downs might miss this game earlier in the week, so it does not come as a huge surprise. It also makes sense given that the Colts have a bye in Week 14. Based on Steichen's earlier comments, it seems reasonable to expect Downs will be ready to play again in Week 15 versus the Denver Broncos. He should be considered a strong WR3 option for that game.

Huddle Up: Downs may be facing an uphill battle this week but has not been ruled out at this point. Fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation but probably should look for other options and keep Downs on the bench.

Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs (shoulder) caught three passes for 27 yards against the Detroit Lions in Week 12 before leaving the game because of a shoulder injury. He was targeted seven times during the game.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor Downs' practice participation this upcoming week to see if he will have a chance to play in Week 13. He is a popular target for Anthony Richardson and could be a flex option in most leagues if he is active.
