Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young has been working out with WRs Tetairoa McMillan, Xavier Legette and Jimmy Horn Jr. this offseason.
Huddle Up: Young is coming off the best season of his career and is looking to strengthen his connection with the receivers. Young will still likely be a No. 2 fantasy quarterback in fantasy leagues. McMillan is the only Panthers receiver that should be a weekly starting option in leagues.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young has not started contract extension talks with the Panthers at this point, according to executive vice president of football operations Brandt Tilis.
Huddle Up: Young will be under contract for two more seasons if the team picks up his fifth-year option, so the two teams have time to work on a possible extension. He is coming off the best season of his NFL career and will look on improving his stats in 2026. He should be considered a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young's fifth-year option will be picked up in the offseason, according to general manager Dan Morgan.
Huddle Up: Young ended up the QB18 for the season in fantasy, which is about where you expect Young. He'll be a QB2 with maybe some upside with another year of development and comfort in this offense.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young set career highs in completion percentage (63.6), passing yards (3,011) and passing touchdowns (23) during the 2025 season.
Huddle Up: Young's numbers were far from elite, but he was able to improve from his sophomore season. Another year with Tetairoa McMillan and a full season of Jalen Coker could help Young take another step forward in 2026, and he should be considered a decent QB2 option.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young completed 21 of his 40 passes for 264 yards, a touchdown and an interception, and he rushed three times for 24 yards and a touchdown in a 34-31 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card playoff game. RB Chuba Hubbard rushed 13 times for 46 yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 13 yards, and Rico Dowdle chipped in nine rushing yards on five carries and caught one pass for six yards. WR Jalen Coker delivered nine catches for a game-high 134 yards and a score, WR Tetairoa McMillan caught five passes for 81 yards, and TE Tommy Tremble secured three receptions for 22 yards. LB Christian Rozeboom led the way with nine tackles, including five solo stops, and CB Mike Jackson added three tackles, four passes defensed and an interception.

The Carolina Panthers are expected to pick up the fifth-year option on QB Bryce Young's rookie contract, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Huddle Up: In the last fifteen years, none of the eight quarterbacks who have been selected with the first overall pick have had the fifth-year option declined, so this news was not surprising. Young projects to be a QB2 option in most fantasy leagues for the 2026 season, although continued development could make him more valuable.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young went 24-for-35 for 264 yards, two touchdowns and one interception against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 18.
Huddle Up: Young showed improvement for the second straight season and should not have any competition for the starting quarterback job next season. He likely will start off as a No. 2 fantasy quarterback in 2026 but could become more valuable if he continues his development.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young went 14-for-24 for 54 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17. He also rushed for 27 yards and one touchdown on nine carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Young was not able to find success in the passing game against the Seahawks, but his rushing touchdown did help his fantasy value a bit. He should be able to post better numbers against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next week but is probably only a possible starting option in two-quarterback leagues.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young (ankle) should be a full participant during practice this upcoming week despite injuring his ankle during the Week 16 game, according to head coach Dave Canales.
Huddle Up: Young has been playing well during the second half of the season with at least two passing touchdowns in three of his last five games and zero interceptions in the last three games. He will be facing a good Seattle Seahawks team this week but can still be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young completed 21-of-32 passes for 191 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 16 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he ran four times for 20 yards.
Huddle Up: Young has multi-TD passing games in three of the past five outings, but really, he has had just two QB1-caliber performances this season. He remains a QB2 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks.
