Las Vegas Raiders TE Michael Mayer had seven receptions for 68 yards on nine targets in Week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Huddle Up: Mayer was originally drafted to be the No. 1 guy a couple of years before Brock Bowers came in. Now, Antonio Pierce is working to try and get both of them working together for the young quarterbacks of the Raiders. Mayer is finishing up the season strong, and it could make him a trade target for other teams in the offseason. As far as fantasy value is concerned this season, as long as Bowers is healthy, Mayer will be second fiddle with limited upside.

Updating previous reports, Las Vegas Raiders TE Michael Mayer (personal) was activated from the Reserve/Non-football Injury list Saturday, Nov. 16.
Huddle Up: While talented, Mayer isn't expected to have a large enough role in this limited passing game to matter much for fantasy purposes. He could make for a DFS punt option, but it's a risky use of a valuable lineup spot. Traditional gamers should watch his target share this week and act accordingly.

Also, TE Michael Mayer (personal) practiced in full but is questionable and CB Jakorian Bennett (hip), DE Maxx Crosby (ankle), WR Jakobi Meyers (hamstring), OT Kolton Miller (ankle), OG Dylan Parham (foot), OL Andrus Peat (ankle) and LB Robert Spillane (knee) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.
