Updating previous reports, Chicago Bears NT Andrew Billings (pectoral) is expected to miss the remainder of the 2024 season recovering from surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle. DTs Zacch Pickens, Chris Z. Williams and Byron Cowart are expected to fill his role.

Chicago Bears S Jaquan Brisker (concussion) and CB Kyler Gordon (hamstring) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 8 versus the Washington Commanders. OT Larry Borom (ankle), RB Travis Homer (finger) and DE Jake Martin (toe) practiced in full on Friday but are listed as questionable. DL Zacch Pickens (groin), DB Terell Smith (hip), CB Tyrique Stevenson (calf) and LS Scott Daly (knee) also practiced in full on Friday but no longer appear on the injury report. TE Marcedes Lewis (rest) was not given a practice designation on Friday but is also expected to play.

DB Tyrique Stevenson (calf) did not practice and is listed as doubtful. OL Teven Jenkins (ankle) was a limited participant at practice and is questionable while DL Jake Martin (toe) practiced in full and is questionable. DB Kyler Gordon (heel) and TE Marcedes Lewis (rest) were full participants at practice and carry no injury designations.

WR DeAndre Carter (ribs) and OL Teven Jenkins (ribs) were limited in practice on Friday, Oct. 4, and are listed as questionable. TE Cole Kmet (knee), DL Gervon Dexter (undisclosed), TE Marcedes Lewis (rest) and DE Montez Sweat (ankle) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.
