Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith (knee) practiced in full for the third consecutive day on Friday, Dec. 20, and carries no designation for Week 16.
Huddle Up: Smith playing is good news for Seahawks pass-catchers, but in a tough matchup against the Minnesota Vikings' elite defense, he isn't a suggested lineup option.

Seattle Seahawks TE Brady Russell (foot) and LB Trevis Gipson (ankle) did not practice on Friday, Dec. 20, and were ruled out for Week 16. Also, S K'Von Wallace (ankle) practiced in full but was ruled out, DL Johnathan Hankins (illness, rest) did not practice but carries no designation and RB Zach Charbonnet (oblique), RB Kenneth Walker III (calf), WR DK Metcalf (shoulder), C Olu Oluwatimi (knee), DE Leonard Williams (foot, rest), CB Tre Brown (hamstring), TE Noah Fant (knee), LB Ernest Jones (knee), OT Abraham Lucas (rest, knee), TE AJ Barner (knee) and QB Geno Smith (knee) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 19.
Huddle Up: Smith has not had any limitations during practice this week and should be ready to play in the Week 16 game. He should have most of his pass catchers available for the game but can be avoided in most leagues.

Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 18.
Huddle Up: Smith suffered the injury in the last game, but it appears like he will not be missing any playing time. He has only thrown three touchdowns in the last five games and probably is only a possible option in some two-quarterback leagues.

Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith (knee) is still waiting on some test results on his injured knee, but head coach Mike Macdonald said Smith has a chance to play in Week 16.
Huddle Up: Smith has received good news so far regarding the injury, so fantasy players should keep an eye on his situation over the next few days. He will be a risky fantasy option if he is active for the game but could be a possible starting option in two-quarterback leagues.

Updating previous reports, Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith (knee) will have imaging done Monday, Dec. 16, but head coach Mike Macdonald said the knee structurally seems OK.
Huddle Up: Sam Howell came on in relief and was a dumpster fire. He would not be a suitable replacement in the fantasy playoffs if Smith were to miss time.

Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith (knee) finished 15-of-19 for 149 yards and an interception in Week 15 versus the Green Bay Packers. Smith also ran once for five yards before suffering a knee injury in the third quarter.
Huddle Up: Smith's interception was a bad one in the red zone, but he was mostly effective excluding that play. Unfortunately for him, his night came to an early end midway through the third quarter when a defender landed on him. The Seahawks will likely update his situation in the next day or two, but the fact Smith was unable to re-enter the game does not bode well for him playing in Week 16 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith (knee) left the Week 15 game against the Green Bay Packers in the third quarter after a low hit. He suffered a knee injury, and is questionable to return. He was visibly upset, slamming his helmet down on the sideline. Smith was able to walk under his own power to the locker room.
Huddle Up: If Smith is unable to continue, Sam Howell would take the reins of the offense for the Seahawks. We'll update when more information becomes available.

Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith completed 24 of his 30 passes for 233 yards and a touchdown in a 30-18 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 14.

Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith completed 20-of-31 passes for 206 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 13 against the New York Jets, while adding two runs for two yards.
Huddle Up: Smith has rolled up some high yardage totals this season, but lately he has done next to nothing. Smith has thrown for 254 or fewer yards in five of his past six outings, while totaling two touchdown throws with one rushing score in the past three outings. The Seahawks have won three in a row, so don't expect head coach Mike MacDonald to change anything in terms of the game plan. Smith is far more valuable to his real team than to fantasy teams right now. The Seahawks will meet the Arizona Cardinals on the road in Week 14. Smith was 22-of-31 for 254 yards, one touchdown pass and one interception with two rushing yards in Week 12 against Arizona in the first meeting.
