Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix (ankle) will be ready for the offseason program and a full-go for organized team activities, according to general manager George Paton.
Huddle Up: Nix was the QB7 last season, and the team added WR Jaylen Waddle to his disposal. He should be a solid, midrange QB1 in fantasy.

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix recorded a league-leading seven game-winning drives during the 2025 regular season.
Huddle Up: Nix is off to a good start to his career with at least 3,700 passing yards and at least 25 passing touchdowns in each of his first two seasons. He is recovering from his broken ankle but should be ready for training camp. He can be considered a low-end No. 1 quarterback in fantasy leagues next season.

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix (ankle) said he suffered a typical bone break and is expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks.
Huddle Up: Nix may miss the early part of offseason workouts but there seems to be a good chance that he is able to practice before training camp. He is coming off a terrific 2025 season and will likely be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in fantasy leagues next season.

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton says it "seems fairly optimistic" that QB Bo Nix (ankle) will be ready for training camp. Nix suffered a broken ankle that required surgery in the AFC divisional round against the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: Nix could be a late-round target in fantasy drafts due to his stock being hurt coming off an injury. He has some upside to be a sneaky QB1 candidate in 2026, depending on how the Broncos build around him this offseason.

Updating previous reports, Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix's (ankle) successful surgery last week revealed that he had limited ligament damage and no joint surface damage to his broken right ankle, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Huddle Up: Nix is expected to need three to four months of recovery time and should be able to participate in minicamp, barring any setbacks. Jarrett Stidham will serve as Denver's starting quarterback for the remainder of the playoffs but is not a recommended option for postseason fantasy leagues.

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix (ankle) is expected to be sidelined for 12 weeks after undergoing surgery last week to repair a broken right ankle, according to multiple sources. He is not supposed to put any weight on the ankle for at least four weeks. It is believed that Nix will have largely recovered in time to participate in the Broncos' offseason program.
Huddle Up: This marks the third time Nix has broken his ankle playing football but the most recent injury was in a different spot and doctors reportedly told him that it should not bother him in the long term. Jarrett Stidham will serve as the Broncos' No. 1 quarterback for the remainder of the postseason but should not be viewed as a strong fantasy option.

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix (ankle) was officially placed on the season-ending Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Jan. 24, ending his season.
Huddle Up: It was already determined Nix would be sidelined for the AFC Championship Game, and the Super Bowl, should Denver qualify. But, this makes it official. Jarrett Stidham starts for the Broncos in Nix's stead. It's uncertain if Nix will be ready for the start of the 2026 season, and it's a story we'll follow in the summer. When healthy, Nix proved to be a decent low-end QB1 or high-end QB2 in most fantasy leagues.
