Free-agent LB Abraham Beauplan, C Kingsley Eguakun, QB Jake Fromm, LB DaRon Gilbert, S Erick Hallett, OT Jamarco Jones, WR Tom Kennedy, DE Chris A. Smith, S Loren Strickland, CB Stantley Thomas-Oliver and DE Isaac Ukwu signed Reserve/Future contracts with the Detroit Lions Monday, Jan. 20. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

Detroit Lions S Ifeatu Melifonwu (ankle) and WR Isaiah Williams (abdomen) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 13, and have been ruled out for Week 2. Also, DE Marcus Davenport (groin) did not practice and is doubtful, DB Kerby Joseph (hamstring), OT Penei Sewell (ankle) and WR Jameson Williams (ankle) were limited and are questionable, and CB Carlton Davis III (chest), DL D.J. Reader (quadriceps) and S Loren Strickland (thumb) practiced in full and have no designation.
