Jacksonville Jaguars WR Terrelle Pryor (hamstring) is considered day-to-day after suffering a hamstring injury in the team's preseason game Thursday, Aug. 22. The injury isn't considered as serious as the hamstring injury he had two weeks ago.
Huddle Up: Pryor remains off the fantasy radar coming off two straight non-productive seasons, and the latest injury setback is doing nothing to help.
Posted 8/22/2019 8:08 pm UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Dede Westbrook four of his seven targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in a 22-7 loss to the Miami Dolphins Thursday, Aug. 22.
Huddle Up: Westbrook is the closest thing the Jaguars have to a No. 1 receiver at this point, but he is only a flex option for fantasy purposes.
Posted 8/22/2019 1:08 pm UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars QB Nick Foles has reportedly 'shown good chemistry' with WRs Dede Westbrook, Chris Conley and DJ Chark Jr. in practice, according to the team's website.
Huddle Up: Fantasy owners should get a peek at the chemistry when they the Jaguars square off with the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night. Jacksonville may be an underrated source of passing-game production this season, as new offensive coordinator John DeFilippo has shown a heavy tendency to lean on the aerial attack. Westbrook figures to be the only receiver worth starting in fantasy right away, however, presumably as a low-end WR3 or flex option.
Posted 8/19/2019 11:08 pm UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars WR DJ Chark has been 'the most impressive receiver' during training camp, according to Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com.
Huddle Up: The Jaguars need someone to step up alongside Dede Westbrook in the passing game, and Chark certainly has the size and speed to be a mismatch for opposing defenses. When you start looking for lottery tickets in the late rounds, keep him in mind.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Ryquell Armstead (concussion) is on the last day of the NFL's concussion protocol, according to head coach Doug Marrone Sunday, Aug. 18. Armstead could play in the team's third preseason game Thursday, Aug. 22.
Huddle Up: Armstead's competing with Alfred Blue and Thomas Rawls to be the primary backup to starter Leonard Fournette. He likely won't have much upside this season, barring injury, but the fifth-round pick of the 2019 NFL Draft could be worthy of a selection in keeper leagues with Fournette's long-term status with the team up in the air.
Posted 8/17/2019 11:08 am UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) was activated from the Active/Physically Unable to Perform Saturday, Aug. 17, and will participate in practice Saturday.
Huddle Up: Lee has missed a lot of time because of his knee injury, so his status for Week 1 is uncertain at this point. He has a chance to earn a starting job this season if he is healthy, but fantasy players should monitor his status over the next few weeks.
Posted 8/11/2019 8:08 pm UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Dede Westbrook (groin) did not participate in practice Sunday, Aug. 11.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players should monitor the situation because Westbrook is on track to be a starter this season. He should see plenty of targets if he is healthy and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues.
Posted 8/10/2019 1:08 pm UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) probably will not be ready for the start of the regular season, according to head coach Doug Marrone.
Huddle Up: Lee may start the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list, which would keep him out for at least the first six weeks of the season. Fantasy players should monitor the situation since Lee could be valuable in the second half of the season.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) may have 'quite a battle on his hands to win a significant role (in the offense when he's ready to return from the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list)),' in the opinion of 1010XL's Hays Carlyon.
Huddle Up: It was reported in mid-July that Lee may not be ready to practice until late in the preseason, meaning he will be well behind every other receiver in camp in a new offense led by an unfamiliar quarterback (Nick Foles). While Dede Westbrook, D.J. Chark, and Chris Conley is not an impenetrable trio to crack, Lee's best chances of contributing in 2019 may be to begin on the regular-season PUP list to give himself basically two full months to get ready.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Nick Foles is preparing for his debut season with the Jags and has been focusing on his diet along with his mental and spiritual health. 'I'm a firm believer that if you're putting the right things in your body and you take care of it, then you're going to be more resilient and able to handle all kinds of situations,' Foles said recently. 'Everyone can relate to this: When adversity hits in life, if you're feeling really energized and healthy because you've been getting great sleep and eating well, your body feels good, then it's easier to handle a stressful situation than when you feel like garbage.'
Huddle Up: Foles will provide an upgrade over Blake Bortles, but he won't have as talented of a supporting cast as he had in Philly. Regard him as QB3 for now.
Posted 7/17/2019 6:07 am UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Alfred Blue is the 'frontrunner' for the No. 2 spot behind RB Leonard Fournette, in the opinion of The Florida Times-Union's John Reid.
Huddle Up: There are some other recognizable names on the depth chart, including Thomas Rawls and rookie Ryquell Armstead, but Blue has been penciled in as RB2 since he signed with the Jags. He remains a decent late-round handcuff for Fournette owners.
Posted 6/21/2019 2:06 am UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars WR DJ Chark has been in rhythm with QB Nick Foles during spring practices, according to Daniel Popper of The Athletic.
Huddle Up: Chark was a non-factor as a rookie, but the Jacksonville receiving corps is lacking a proven star. Chark will have his chance to claim one of the top spots, and the fact that he and Foles are on the same page should only help his cause. He's worth adding in the later rounds.
Posted 6/14/2019 2:06 pm UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Chris Conley has been the best receiver in the team's organized team activities and minicamp. He has grown a rapport with QB Nick Foles, and Conley could emerge as the team's top receiver.
Huddle Up: It's early, but Conley is a WR5 target at minimum. He'll need to show strides in training camp before we get too excited.
Posted 6/14/2019 12:06 am UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette will be a big part of the passing game with QB Nick Foles in 2019, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco.
Huddle Up: Fournette has just 48 career catches for 487 yards and two touchdowns over the first two seasons of his career. Foles most memorably hooked up with RB Corey Clement four times for 100 yards and a touchdown in Super Bowl LII. Fournette could be a huge steal if he continues to go in the third round of PPR drafts.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) said he expects to be on the field at some point during training camp.
Huddle Up: Lee is coming off a torn anterior cruciate ligament and could be limited at the start of the 2019 season depending on his recovery. He should be the main option in the passing game when healthy and can be selected in most fantasy leagues.
Posted 5/30/2019 10:05 pm UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars QB Nick Foles (personal) participated in practice Thursday, May 30, after he missed practice Tuesday, May 28, because of a personal issue.
Huddle Up: Foles played well in limited playing time over the last few seasons but may need some time to adjust to being the starter for the Jaguars. He probably should be considered a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues, but fantasy players can monitor him during the preseason.
Posted 5/28/2019 4:05 pm UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Alfred Blue was absent from the team's OTA workouts Tuesday, May 28, for an unspecified, non-medical reason.
Huddle Up: Keep an eye on Blue as he's vying with Thomas Rawls, Benny Cunningham and rookie Ryquell Armstead to serve as the primary backup to the oft-injured Leonard Fournette.
Posted 5/24/2019 4:05 pm UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette is being counted on to have a big season in 2019. 'We're really looking forward to Leonard having a big year,' offensive coordinator John DeFilippo said this week, via the team's official website. 'I'm going to call it what it is: He's going to be a major reason where our offense goes. I'm not going to sugarcoat that. Leonard Fournette needs to be a big part of this offense. The harder he works -- which he is right now -- that's going to be not only good for our offense, but good for our team.'
Huddle Up: Fournette's numbers were down markedly across the board last season as he played in only eight games due to injuries and suspension. However, we've seen what he can do when in the lineup (1,342 total yards, 10 TDs as a rookie) and that's why he will be drafted as a high-end RB2 this summer.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette won't face discipline from the team following his recent arrest for driving with a suspended license, head coach Doug Marrone said Tuesday, April 16.
Huddle Up: Fournette has RB1 upside, but he should be valued as a RB2 with all the other factors, including his injury history, included.
Posted 4/11/2019 8:04 pm UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette was arrested Thursday, April 11, for allegedly driving with a suspended license. He paid a $1,508 bond and was released. The third-year running back's licenses had been suspended last November when he was cited for driving 37 miles per hour in a 25 mile-per-hour zone. He had not paid the required fine.
Huddle Up: Fournette has dealt with injuries and been accused of having a bad attitude, now he adds this to the unflattering list of baggage. We know that Fournette is capable of achieving RB1 status, but if these distractions persist he may be a fantasy disappointment in 2019.
Posted 4/01/2019 8:04 pm UTC
Free-agent RB Alfred Blue (Texans) signed a one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars Monday, April 1, according to a source. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Blue was a solid contributor for the Houston Texans behind Lamar Miller. He'll make for a high-end handcuff behind Leonard Fournette in Jacksonville.
Posted 3/26/2019 8:03 pm UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) is expected to be ready late in the preseason as he continues to recover from ligament damage, according to head coach Doug Marrone.
Huddle Up: Lee has the ability to be the most reliable wide receiver on the Jaguars when he's at full health. That receiving corps is somewhat of a crapshoot, but Lee owns a WR3 ceiling.
Posted 3/20/2019 6:03 am UTC
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette has and will continue to work out with new University of Wyoming director of sports performance Ben Iannacchione, who spent six of the past seven seasons working in the strength and conditioning program at LSU - Fournette's alma mater. Fournette also spoke with executive vice president of football operations Tom Coughlin, who still has 'full confidence' in the player he selected No. 4 overall in 2017. 'With Leonard, a prepared Leonard coming into camp with a mindset that he discussed and we talked about ... I have full confidence in him. He does have some things he's got to prove when he comes back about his preparation, but he's a young, young player, he loves football, had an outstanding year, had a very disappointing year, and I think he wants to - we want him to be a great player and I think he's in the same mindset,' Coughlin said.
Huddle Up: Fournette was among the bigger disappointments in fantasy in 2018, twice missing an extended period of time with hamstring injuries and earning a suspension for coming off the sidelines to throw a punch in Week 12. Owners have every right to avoid him for his lack of durability, but he is also shaping up to be a value pick if he slides into the late third round area of fantasy drafts. Until further notice, he will still be the focal point of the offense. He'll also have plenty of motivation on what should be an improved offense.

The Jacksonville Jaguars signed free-agent WR Chris Conley (Chiefs) Saturday, March 16, according to a source. Terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
Huddle Up: The 26-year-old Conley had 32 receptions for 334 yards and five touchdowns for Kansas City last season. He will be battling the likes of Keelan Cole, Dede Westbrook and Marqise Lee in Jacksonville for targets and should be viewed as a possible late-round flier in deeper fantasy football leagues.
Posted 3/11/2019 8:03 pm UTC
Free-agent QB Nick Foles (Eagles) agreed to terms on a four-year, $88 million deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars Monday, March 11, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. There is a maximum value of $102 million.
Huddle Up: The Jaguars and Foles make a lot of sense for each other. Blake Bortles hasn't been getting the job done and Foles has shown he can be a viable NFL starter when given the opportunity. This move thrusts Foles into the QB1 conversation, although it's advisable to draft him as a QB2.
Posted 3/03/2019 4:03 pm UTC
Philadelphia Eagles QB and pending free agent Nick Foles will sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars when free agency opens on March 13, according to league sources. The Jaguars appear to be the only serious bidder for Foles, and the two sides already have been working on a structure of a new contract after the Eagles announced they would not be placing a franchise tag on the quarterback.
Huddle Up: This has been shaping up as the most predictable move of the offseason and would put Foles on the high-end QB2 fantasy radar. In the meantime this would also breathe some fantasy stability into the top Jacksonville pass-catchers after the weekly roller-coaster they've been riding with Blake Bortles at the helm.

The Jacksonville Jaguars appear to be the front-runner for acquiring Philadelphia Eagles impending free-agent QB Nick Foles when free agency opens March 13, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He notes, 'A lot can change once free agency opens ...,' however.
Huddle Up: Foles would be an upgrade for the Jaguars from stability and ball-security perspectives, although the Jaguars are still thin at receiver and will remain committed to the ground game. Foles is a low-upside backup in a Jacksonville jersey.
Posted 2/14/2019 11:02 pm UTC
Free-agent QB Nick Foles (Eagles) is not expected to return to the Philadelphia Eagles as the backup to Carson Wentz.
Huddle Up: Foles deserves a starting job. He won't want to play as a backup and make less money when there are teams willing to pay him to be their starter. He can be a part of the QB1 conversation if he lands in the right spot. Of course, when Wentz is healthy he too has QB1 appeal.
