Detroit Lions WR Isaac TeSlaa has the confidence of the coaching staff, as it was pleased with his growth from the start of his rookie season to the end. "We really like TeSlaa. We feel like he's taken off," head coach Dan Campbell said at this league meetings this week. "You'd be hard-pressed to say that he didn't make the most growth of any rookie."
Huddle Up: TeSlaa ended up with just 16 receptions for 239 yards on 27 targets in his 17 games, but he had six touchdowns, sometimes on very acrobatic, highlight-reel grabs. The 24-year-old receiver is obviously behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams on the depth chart, but his arrow is pointing up, and should either of those players miss time to injury, TeSlaa is a guy who step right in and be a fantasy contributor, so file his name away as a late-round flier on draft day, knowing that the coaching staff has high trust in him.

Chicago Bears WR Kalif Raymond had interest from the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks in free agency, but he chose the Bears so he could work with former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, now head coach in Chicago. "I wanted to play in Ben's offense," Raymond said. "He's extraordinarily creative, and honestly, you can be in any spot on the offense, and he will find a way to get you the ball. Just to be under him is a great privilege."
Huddle Up: As long as Luther Burden III, Rome Odunze and Colston Loveland are healthy in Chicago, Raymond will have rather limited usage. He isn't someone to draft in most fantasy leagues. However, it might only take an injury or two before he sees an uptick in production, so remember his name for the waiver wire during the fantasy season.

Houston Texans RB David Montgomery has scored 13 touchdowns from inside the 10-yard line over the past three seasons. Meamwhile, the team has really struggled in that area. He figures to give the team a huge bump in red-zone production. The team reportedly believes in Montgomery as a lead back.
Huddle Up: Montgomery has been a fantasy option for his entire career, but he tailed off last season, with Jahmyr Gibbs carving more of a role out for himself, chiseling Montgomery out of touches. He has scored six or more touchdowns in three straight seasons, and six of the past seven years. He should once again be a RB2 or flex fantasy option in 2026.

Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery was officially acquired by the Houston Texans Wednesday, March 11, in exchange for C Juice Scruggs, a 2026 fourth-round draft choice and a 2027 seventh-round draft choice.
Huddle Up: Montgomery will likely share playing time with Woody Marks in 2026 but may see a majority of the carries in the running game. He can be considered a No. 2 or No. 3 running back in fantasy leagues.

Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff restructured his contract Wednesday, March 11. The move dropped his base salary from $55 million to $15 million and added a void year in 2030.
Huddle Up: Goff was the QB6 in fantasy last season despite the down season for the team. He threw for 4,564 yards, 34 TDs and eight INTs. That should be a stable projection with maybe a little upside if his weapons stay healthy. Consider him a high-floor, midrange QB1.

Impending free-agent QB Kyle Allen (Lions) and the Buffalo Bills have reportedly agreed to terms on a two-year, $4.1 million contract, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN on Monday, March 9. The two-year deal could be worth upwards of $6.1 million.
Huddle Up: Allen has been installed as a seldom-used backup quarterback over the last three seasons for the Lions, Steelers and Bills. Returning to the Bills for his second stint, it will take a Josh Allen injury to make Allen anything close to fantasy relevant. You can safely ignore Allen for fantasy purposes.

Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery was acquired by the Houston Texans Monday, March 3, for an undisclosed package.
Huddle Up: Montgomery was the RB27 in non-PPR leagues last year. He'll likely share work with the RB30 in Woody Marks. Montogomery could see more work on a team that emphasizes the run a bit more than Detroit. He'll be a rock-solid RB2, but keep in mind he only caught 24 balls last season and will lose some luster in PPR.

Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes has spoken with RB David Montgomery and notes, "Those conversations are still fluid and we'll just see how it goes."
Huddle Up: David Montgomery could become a cap casualty, but he would likely have several options for a new home. He can be an RB1 in an NFL backfield and a dynamic RB2 in fantasy if he lands in a fantasy-friendly spot in 2026.

Detroit Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs' 49 total touchdowns are the most in NFL history by a player age-23 or younger.
Huddle Up: Gibbs has scored at least 11 touchdowns in all three seasons in the NFL, and he has at least 18 scores in each of the last two seasons. Gibbs combines big-play speed with every-down versatility, making him one of the most dangerous back in the league. He should be a top-five pick in all formats in 2026.

Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff said he is excited to work with offensive coordinator Drew Petzing and that other quarterbacks that have worked with Petzing have given him great reviews.
Huddle Up: Goff will have to learn a new offense this offseason but will have most of his pass catchers back next season. He has been very productive during his time with Detroit but will probably start next season as a No. 2 fantasy quarterback.

Detroit Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs recorded 819 rushing yards before contact this season, which ranked third in the NFL in that category.
Huddle Up: Gibbs finished the regular season with 1,223 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns which ranked in the top 10 of each category in the NFL. He will be the main running back for the Lions next season and will be a weekly starting option in leagues.

Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff had 2,424 of his 4,564 passing yards this season come after the catch, which led the league in that category.
Huddle Up: Goff has thrown for at least 4,400 yards in each of the last four seasons but will be working in a new offensive system next season. He should have most of his pass catchers back next season but probably will be a No. 2 fantasy quarterback in most leagues.

Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams recorded a league-high 12 drops during the 2025 regular season.
Huddle Up: Williams was still able to post 1,117 receiving yards this season despite the drops and should be one of the main receivers for the Lions in 2026. He will be working in a new offensive system next season but can still be at least a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams ranked third in the NFL with 23 receptions of 20-plus yards in 2025, and his 17.2 yards per reception ranked third among players who appeared in at least 10 games.
Huddle Up: Despite a horribly slow start to the year, Williams still managed to finish ninth in the league with a career-high 1,117 receiving yards. He is more boom or bust than the elite fantasy receivers, but Williams' big-play speed gives him WR1 upside and gives him added value in best ball.

Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown caught 11 of his 15 targets for 139 yards in a 19-16 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 18.
Huddle Up: St. Brown put the finishing touches on his third straight season with at least 115 catches, 1,200 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. He continues to be one of the safest WR1 options in the game, especially in PPR formats.

Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams caught six of his eight targets for 74 yards in a 19-16 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 18.
Huddle Up: Despite a surprisingly slow start, Williams used a strong second half to set a career high in receiving yards. He ended up showcasing the WR2 upside that many expected from him, and if he can hit the ground running in 2026, a career year could be on tap for Williams.

Detroit Lions WR Isaac TeSlaa caught his only target for 18 yards in a 19-16 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 18.
Huddle Up: TeSlaa finished his rookie year with just 16 catches, but six of those went for touchdowns. He showed a knack for making contested catches in the red zone, which could make him worth a look as a late-round sleeper heading into next season.

Detroit Lions WR Kalif Raymond caught all three of his targets for 52 yards in a 19-16 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 18.
Huddle Up: It was just the second time this season that Raymond topped 50 receiving yards in a game, although his usage did see a bit of an uptick after Sam LaPorta was lost for the year to injury. Raymond heads into free agency this offseason and will probably be a depth piece wherever he lands.

Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery rushed eight times for 42 yards and caught one pass for 13 yards in a 19-16 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 18.
Huddle Up: Montgomery finishes the season with his fewest numbers of carries and touches in his three seasons in Detroit. He did score eight times, but with Jahmyr Gibbs taking a more prominent role in the backfield, Montgomery has looks like more of a touchdown-dependent flex option moving forward.

Detroit Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs rushed 19 times for 80 yards and caught three passes for 33 yards and a touchdown in a 19-16 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 18.
Huddle Up: Gibbs' touchdown catch gave him 18 total scores on the year, and while his rushing numbers dipped a bit down the stretch, he remained one of the most complete backs in the league. Gibbs will enter 2026 as a potential top-five pick in fantasy drafts.

Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle, knee) is officially active for the Week 18 game.
Huddle Up: St. Brown should see plenty of targets in the passing game despite his injuries and will be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff completed 27 of his 42 passes for 331 yards, a touchdown and an interception in a 19-16 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 18.
Huddle Up: Goff put the finishing touches on a solid season that saw him finish second in the the NFL in touchdown passes and rank inside the top five in passing yards. That being said, his production tends to come in bunches, making Goff a QB2 with streaming upside heading into 2026.

Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle, knee) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 2, and is listed as questionable for Week 18.
Huddle Up: St. Brown seems to have a good chance to play in the finale, but fantasy players should check the inactive list for his official status. He will see a good amount of targets if he plays and will be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (knee, ankle) is "trending" towards playing in Week 18, according to head coach Dan Campbell.
Huddle Up: St. Brown has been quiet the last two weeks as the Lions' offense struggles, but he still has promise as a top-end wide receiver option in Week 18.

Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle, knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 31.
Huddle Up: St. Brown has been dealing with the knee injury for several weeks, so fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation to see if he will be active. He should see his normal workload if he plays in Week 18 and will be a starting option in all leagues.

Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (knee) is considered day-to-day because of his knee injury, according to head coach Dan Campbell.
Huddle Up: St. Brown may miss some practice time this week but should have a good chance to play in the regular season finale. Fantasy players should monitor the situation during the week because he is a starting option in all leagues when healthy.

Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams caught two of his three targets for 37 yards in a 23-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17.
Huddle Up: Williams had delivered at least 70 receiving yards in four straight games, but like most of the Detroit offense, he was bottled up by the Vikings. He has been able to recover from a slow start to put together a solid season, but he delivered a disappointing stat line in a week when many fantasy championships will be decided.

Detroit Lions WR Isaac TeSlaa caught three of his four targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in a 23-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17.
Huddle Up: TeSlaa has now caught a touchdown in four of his last five games, and he has a combined seven grabs for 101 yards over the last two games. With his usage starting to rise and a role in the red zone, TeSlaa deserves to be in the WR4 mix.
