Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson has made 'at least one splash play' during each practice, according to to Tim McManus of ESPN.com, and McManus believes Jackson is going to 'do some damage this season.'
Huddle Up: The combination of Jackson's speed and the big arm of Carson Wentz could be a match made in fantasy football heaven. He's worth scooping up in the later rounds of redraft leagues, and his ability to produce big plays makes him especially appealing in best ball formats.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Richard Rodgers (undisclosed) was carted off the field Monday, Aug. 19.
Huddle Up: Rodgers is a leading candidate for the Eagles' TE3 role, but he's unlikely to see much work in the passing game behind Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Cody Kessler (concussion) is at practice Monday, Aug. 19, while wearing a uniform.
Huddle Up: Kessler now needs to compete with veteran Josh McCown to be the primary backup to Carson Wentz under center. Either one would likely have a moderate amount of fantasy appeal in the right match up if Wentz were to miss any more time.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Miles Sanders rushed five times for 31 yards in a 24-10 preseason win over the Jacksonville Jaguars Thursday, Aug. 15.
Huddle Up: After battling some injuries during the spring, it is a good to see Sanders producing in game action, albeit with limited touches. He has the highest ceiling of any of Philadelphia's backs, and could emerge as a flex option in redraft leagues by the end of the year.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson is 'a complete player' who can 'do anything that he wants,' according to offensive coordinator Mike Groh. Jackson appears to be rejuvenated by his return to Philadelphia and is thrilled with head coach Doug Pederson's offense, telling NBC Sports Philadelphia's Reuben Frank that 'we got some dope stuff in this year' and the 'kind of stuff (Pederson) has up his sleeve for this offense ... is unbelievable.'
Huddle Up: Jackson is a screaming value at his mid-10th round ADP, and it's only a matter of time before owners start catching on to what insiders have known for a few months - Carson Wentz and Jackson are about as perfect of a match as any fantasy owner could hope for. There is a distinct possibility Jackson ends up beating his ADP by three or four rounds.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard has been the top option in short-yardage and goal-line situations during training camp and has impressed the team with his ability to catch the ball and hold up in pass protection, according to comments made by offensive coordinator Mike Groh. '(Howard has) done a really nice job both in catching the ball and in the protection. He's been all over his protection. Done a really good job with that, been sound and firm in protection allowing our quarterbacks to step up in the pocket and make the throws down the field,' Groh said of Howard.
Huddle Up: Howard has been steady enough during camp to be considered the best fantasy option out of the Philadelphia backfield at the start of the season, but it will be up to him to keep it that way with rookie Miles Sanders lurking. The Chicago Bears talked up Howard's hands last year as well, only to abandon him as an option in the passing game. Either way, owners should expect the Eagles to remain a committee backfield for the foreseeable future.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard is 'dominating carries with the first-team offense' so far in training camp, according to 94WIP's Eliot Shorr-Parks.
Huddle Up: With rookie Miles Sanders having missed the bulk of spring work and mostly change-of-pace backs behind him, it's not a surprise Howard is getting most of the work. Sanders does loom as a threat as the season progresses, but Howard should be safe for at least the first month or so and perhaps longer if he starts fast. Owners should view him as a high-upside RB2 with some risk of sharing carries with November and December roll around.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor (lower body) was able to participate in practice Thursday, July 25.
Huddle Up: Agholor should be on the field in three-receiver sets, but he is likely a big-play dependent fantasy option for a Philadelphia offense with no shortage of weapons. He is a better option in best ball formats than in standard leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz won't face any practice restrictions in training camp, head coach Doug Pederson said Thursday, July 25. 'We're not going to hold back,' Pederson said.
Huddle Up: Injuries have cut Wentz's last two seasons short as he's played 13 and 11 games, respectively, but he's produced when on the field and enters 2019 as a low-end QB1 in fantasy.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson 'can still go,' according to QB Carson Wentz. 'I think we're going to do something special with him,' Wentz said.
Huddle Up: While Jackson may still have the speed to produce big plays, he is going to have a tough time being a consistent contributor in Philadelphia's crowded receiving corps. Consider him an all-or-nothing WR5, and Jackson is probably more valuable in DFS contests than in redraft leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz (back) has been putting in work rehabbing this offseason after having his last two seasons cut short by different injuries, according to OT Lane Johnson. 'I love it, every day when I go in the building, all I see is him in there before everybody else, rehabbing, doing whatever it takes.' Johnson said of Wentz. 'I just think he's really on a different mental state than he's ever been as far as training and ignoring distractions and really trying to be the best player he is. So, I just see that worker and a guy who is about to do some big things this season.'
Huddle Up: Wentz is currently being drafted as the ninth quarterback off the board. He is being slightly discounted due to the perceived injury risk, but he has immense upside in his current spot.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard is expected to be sort of the 'meat and potatoes' back who will see the 'lion's share' of work in short yardage and in the four-minute offense, according to Jimmy Kempski of the Philly Voice.
Huddle Up: Kempski adds Howard has received praise for his ability to catch the ball and contribute as a receiver since arriving in Philly, but it's worth noting the Chicago Bears said the same thing last summer before abandoning the experiment about halfway through the season. Miles Sanders should eventually push him for early-down work, while Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood will likely get most of the work in the passing game. Consider Howard a low-end RB2/high-end RB3 with significant touchdown upside.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Josh Adams won't be asked to change his running style, according to assistant head coach and running backs coach Duce Staley. 'Hell no. Nah, Josh is who he is. I like him, too. Once again, competitive runner, another good running back that's in our room. You go back and you watch some of the film last year, Josh was out there, he really picked it up,' Staley said. 'He was able to step right in and be starter.'
Huddle Up: Adams was the beneficiary of a bevy of injuries, but now he has an uphill climb with returnees Corey Clement, Donnel Pumphrey and Wendell Smallwood back, while newcomers Jordan Howard, Miles Sanders and Boston Scott joining the room. He might have fantasy appeal again at some point if injuries strike again, but Adams should be avoided on draft day in most leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Wendell Smallwood had a strong offseason program and assistant head coach and running backs coach Duce Staley is excited about his role in the offense. 'I'm excited about Wendell. Like we talked about earlier, we have a great room, a great group, and they're all competitive, and they know they're competing against each other, which is awesome,' Staley said. 'Wendell's picked his game up during OTAs. We all know he can catch the ball out of the backfield. He's just getting better within the offense, learning our offense even more.'
Huddle Up: Smallwood will be looking to carve out his piece of the pie with Jordan Howard, Miles Sanders, Corey Clement, Josh Adams and others in the mix all looking to claim their stake in the Philly backfield. Smallwood is worth a late-round pick in PPR leagues at this point, but the backfield is just too crowded to expect much more.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard has impressive assistant head coach and running backs coach Duce Staley in his brief time with the organization, showing great attitude and soft-spoken personality. 'That's what you want. He's a pro, and we knew that kinds of going after him a little bit,' Staley said. 'He was a pro, so he came in, went straight to work. It's hard to get three words out of him, but if you get three words out of him, you're doing good. So I'm very pleased with him.'
Huddle Up: Howard arrives in the City of Brotherly Love with a logjam in the backfield, as he'll be battling second-round pick Miles Sanders, as well as Josh Adams, Corey Clement, Donnel Pumphrey, Boston Scott and Wendell Smallwood. Sanders has the best success in the NFL so far and he is likely to be the favorite for the most amount of work. When targeting Philly running backs for fantasy purposes, Jordan should be the first addition.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Josh Adams could very well be on the outside looking in when final cuts are announced given his overall lack of versatility, in the opinion of NBC Sports Philadelphia's Reuben Frank.
Huddle Up: Frank makes a solid case for how Adams can make the team, as he flashed big-play ability prior to hurting his shoulder seriously enough to need surgery to repair a torn labrum. He cites the Eagles' running back depth as the main reason why the second-year runner may be out of a job, as Philadelphia added Miles Sanders and Jordan Howard to a group that already included Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood. Either way, Adams figures to struggle for fantasy relevancy if he remains in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson, according to Pro Football Focus, had at least one step of separation on 67.6 percent of his targets in 2018, which ranked fifth among the 72 wideouts with at least 50 targets.
Huddle Up: Jackson is going from one crowded pass-catching corps (Buccaneers) to another, and he remains a boom-or-bust WR4/5 pick.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson has been embracing his role as a veteran and leader this offseason, according to Zack Rosenblatt of NJ.com. The 32-year-old was present for all but one session of voluntary organized team activities (OTAs) practices. 'He's done everything we've asked him to do,' receivers coach Carson Walch said. 'He's been great in the meeting room. Some of our young guys sometimes are in awe seeing DeSean Jackson in our building.'
Huddle Up: Jackson's expected to start on the right side for the Eagles, opposite Alshon Jeffery with Nelson Agholor in the slot. He led the league with 18.9 yards per reception with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season and finished with 774 yards and four touchdowns in just 12 games. His best games have been difficult to predict in the past, but he has a lot of upside as a WR3.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert has looked ready to make a second-year leap into stardom in 2019, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Huddle Up: Goedert, who caught 33 passes for 334 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie after being chosen 49th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, will remain behind Zach Ertz on the Eagles' depth chart as a sophomore. He could prove to be a viable TE2 in deeper leagues and would be an instant must-add should Ertz miss any time.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (wrist) was able to participate in practice Wednesday, June 12. He had been dealing with a wrist ailment.
Huddle Up: As long as Jeffery can stay healthy, and Carson Wentz can also stay on the field, then he will be a decent WR2 or WR3 heading into the 2019 NFL season.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor (undisclosed) is not practicing because of a lower-body injury but should be ready for training camp, according to head coach Doug Pederson.
Huddle Up: Agholor likely will be a top-three receiver for the Eagles this season but may not receive a lot of targets because of the other pass catchers on the roster. He can be a late-round pick in fantasy leagues but will not be a weekly starting option.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson is a top candidate for the punt returner job this season, according to special teams coordinator Dave Fipp.
Huddle Up: Jackson should have a role in the passing game, so it is not known if he will be the full-time returner. He is still a deep threat because of his speed and could be a late-round option in fantasy leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz signed a four-year contract extension with the Eagles Thursday, June 6, that will run through the 2024 season. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Wentz has struggled with injuries over the last few seasons but has played well when he is on the field. He should be considered a No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues in 2019.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz is 'locked in potentially to a return to MVP form,' according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Head coach Doug Pederson echoed similar sentiments with reporters recently as well.
Huddle Up: Wentz missed five games last season due to a back injury and has been sidelined for eight total since playing all 16 as a rookie in 2016. With that said, it's hard to ignore the weapons he has at his disposal - Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson and Zach Ertz, among several others - or the solid offensive line he has protecting him. If he can play a full season again, it is quite possible Wentz can produce at a high-end fantasy QB1 level.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz (knee) has no limitations in organized team activities, according to head coach Doug Pederson.
Huddle Up: Wentz a year-and-a-half removed from a torn ACL that wrecked an MVP season. This will be a prove-it year to show that peak wasn't smoke and mirrors. He's a high-end option at the position with top-two upside and a mediocre floor.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz has started contract extension talks with the Eagles, but the two sides are not close to an agreement at this point.
Huddle Up: Wentz is under contract for a few more years but could receive a contract extension before the start of the 2019 season. Wentz has played well when he is healthy, but he has deal with injuries over the last few seasons. He can still be a No. 1 quarterback in all fantasy leagues this upcoming season.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz's fifth-year option was exercised Monday, April 29.
Huddle Up: Wentz has played well when he is healthy but has missed time each of the last two seasons because of injuries. He can be considered a No. 1 fantasy quarterback in fantasy leagues, but fantasy players may want to draft a solid backup because of Wentz's injury history.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor could be traded if the Eagles select a wide receiver during the 2019 NFL Draft, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Huddle Up: Agholor has been pretty consistent over the last two seasons with at least 736 yards in each of the seasons and 12 touchdowns over that span. He can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver for a team if he is traded and could be a late-round fantasy option in 2019.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard has been knocked for a perceived deficiency on runs out of the shotgun formation, but 2018's stats don't back that up. Last season, Howard rushed 138 times for 570 yards (4.13 yards per carry) out of the shotgun and ran 111 times for 364 yards (3.28 ypc) when the quarterback was under center.
Huddle Up: Howard will be fine running out of any formation, but of more concern to his fantasy value is the Eagles' recent tradition of rotating multiple backs. Put him down as a solid RB3 for now with definite RB2 potential.
