Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) is not expected to play in Week 3's game against the Detroit Lions, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Jeffery had been listed as questionable on the injury report after being unable to practice at all during the week. The Eagles' Week 4 game is on Thursday Night Football, so the team may decide to hold him out of action versus Detroit in order to give him a few more days to recover.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (calf) reportedly looked better at practice Saturday, Sept. 21, and is currently considered a pregame decision for Week 3's contest against the Detroit Lions.
Huddle Up: Goeder had been listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in one practice session during the week on a limited basis. Fantasy owners should be able to find better options even if he is active for the game.

Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 3.
Huddle Up: Jeffery missed most of practice this week and likely will be a game-time decision for Week 3. The Eagles may consider resting him since they play on Thursday Night Football next week, so fantasy players may want to look for more reliable options for their lineups.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) has given the team optimism he could play in Week 3.
Huddle Up: The matchup against the Detroit Lions is a decent one, but it's pretty sketchy to start Jeffery. DeSean Jackson (groin) is out, and Nelson Agholor is a good WR3 option this week. If he's on waivers, give him a look.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (groin) won't play in Week 3, according to head coach Doug Pederson.
Huddle Up: Nelson Agholor will receive extra attention on offense this week, and he's coming off an 8-107-1 performance. It's a solid matchup against the Detroit Lions, and Agholor will be a WR3 option.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (groin) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 19.
Huddle Up: As expected, D-Jax remained a spectator and could wind up missing multiple games. Hopefully his fantasy owners have other options lined up, and if you're in a shallow league, feel free to drop him.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 18. The Eagles did not hold an official practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation.
Huddle Up: Jeffery status for Week 3 is uncertain at this point, so fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation during the week. He is a must-start option when he is healthy but will be a risky option if he is active since he could be limited.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (calf) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 18. The Eagles did not hold an official practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation.
Huddle Up: Goedert is considered day-to-day, so he is a question mark for Week 3. Fantasy players in most leagues should be able to find better options to use even if Goedert plays in the game.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (groin) is not expected to play in Week 3 versus the Detroit Lions and he may be hard-pressed to go in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers due to a short turnaround, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Huddle Up: With Alshon Jeffery also not looking like he'll play in Week 3, fantasy owners get to look forward to another week (or two) of Nelson Agholor as the Eagles' top receiver. Agholor paid dividends with a 100-yard game in Week 2, and he would be a good bet for 10 or more targets against this week if Pelissero's information is correct. Owners should not hesitate using him as a WR3 this week.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) is dealing with a calf strain and his status for the next two games are uncertain. The injury is not considered serious, but the team plays two games in 10 days.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see if Jeffery misses any games. He is a solid starting option when he is healthy, but players should have other options ready in case he misses time.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz completed 25 of 43 passes for 231 yards, 1 TD and 2 INTs against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Sept. 15. Wentz also ran for a touchdown.
Huddle Up: Wentz was dealing with a skeleton crew on offense after injuries knocked several of his top weapons out of action. Wentz even came off the field for a bit and was replaced by Josh McCown. Given all that, and the fact that Nelson Agholor dropped a possible long touchdown, Wentz played a pretty respectable game. He remains a QB1, though do keep an eye on those injuries.

Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (groin) is dealing with a groin injury suffered in the first half of the Week 2 game against the Atlanta Falcons and he is questionable to return.
Huddle Up: Jackson was seen on the sideline trying to jog off his injury after emerging from the medical tent. He was also seen slamming his helmet on the bench in the disgust, which is a bit of an ominous sign.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) exited the Week 2 game against the Atlanta Falcons due to a calf injury in the first quarter.
Huddle Up: It's uncertain if Jeffery will be able to return, and fellow receivers Desean Jackson and Nelson Agholor also departed early. Dallas Goedert also checked out, as did Carson Wentz briefly. It's been a train wreck for the Eagles and fantasy owners of their stars so far.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz (ribs) left the Week 2 game against the Atlanta Falcons due to an apparent rib injury. He took a shot to the mid-section from the helmet of a defender. Initially he stayed in the game, but then he left for the medical tent late in the second quarter, replaced by QB Josh McCown.
Huddle Up: It has been an odyssey for the Eagles in the first half, as Alshon Jeffrey is on the sidelines, Desean Jackson has been in and out and now their field general is sidelined. Center Jason Kelce even left the game briefly. More on Wentz when we know it.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard should see more looks in short-yardage situations and in the red zone moving forward. The Eagles used RBs Miles Sanders and Darren Sproles there in Week 1, and it didn't end well.
Huddle Up: Howard rushed just six times for 44 yards in Week 1, and that should improve. The Eagles match up against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2, which doesn't bode well for Howard. He's not a great flex option next week.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery caught five of his six targets for 49 yards and a touchdown and added a two-yard rushing score in a 32-27 win over the Washington Redskins in Week 1.
Huddle Up: Jeffery's rushing score came on a quick swing pass that traveled backwards, and when he is healthy, he is a matchup nightmare for defenses in the red zone. He will be a touchdown-dependent WR3 most weeks.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz caught five of his seven targets for 54 yards in a 32-27 win over the Washington Redskins in Week 1.
Huddle Up: Ertz didn't have his best game, but he still had a steady role in the passing attack. He is one of the safest fantasy options at his position.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Miles Sanders rushed 11 times for 25 yards and caught one pass for two yards in a 32-27 win over the Washington Redskins in Week 1.
Huddle Up: Although the stat line wasn't pretty, it was encouraging to see Sanders lead the backfield in carries. He could have some flex appeal against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz completed 28 of his 39 passes for 313 yards and three touchdowns in a 32-27 win over the Washington Redskins in Week 1.
Huddle Up: We have seen Wentz play at an MVP level in the past, and he has the weapons around him to put up big numbers all year. He should be a weekly QB1 option as long as he can stay healthy.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz is making quicker decisions this season, according to head coach Doug Pederson. 'It's part of the progression of him and his growth as a young quarterback right now,' Pederson said. 'He's getting to the line of scrimmage, he's seeing things fast, he's redirecting protection, going through his progressions, the ball is coming out of his hand quicker.'
Huddle Up: Wentz has missed time in each of the last two seasons with injuries, but he was on his way to MVP honors in 2017. At the helm of an offense loaded with weapons, Wentz is a QB1 option despite the injury history.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (biceps) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 6, and is not on the injury report for Week 1.
Huddle Up: Jeffery should receive a solid amount of targets this week against the Washington Redskins and can be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Updating previous reports, Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (biceps) bumped his arm in a collision, and he'll be fine for Week 1, according to head coach Doug Pederson.
Huddle Up: Jeffery is a productive receiver, but he has a tendency to get nicked up. He is a good WR3 against the Washington Redskins this week.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard was included in a proposed trade for Los Angeles Chargers RB Melvin Gordon. The two teams also would have swapped mid-round picks and the Chargers would have needed to eat salary. L.A. rejected the deal.
Huddle Up: Howard seemingly would have gone from one committee to another. He's battling rookie Miles Sanders, and veterans Corey Clement and Darren Sproles for playing time in Philly but would have been in competition with Austin Ekeler and Justin Jackson in L.A. He's expected to get the bulk of the early-season work, but Sanders is hot on his heels to take over after being selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Josh Adams was waived Saturday, Aug. 31.
Huddle Up: Adams will have some interest, and he could land in a spot to be worth a waiver-wire pickup.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (finger) suffered a broken ring finger on his left hand during practice Tuesday, Aug. 27. Jackson is not expected to miss any time with the injury, and the team does not appear to be concerned about it either.
Huddle Up: It's a bump in the road for the oft-injured Jackson, but he should have plenty of time between now and Week 1 to get used to whatever tape job or brace the training staff decides is best for him. Assuming he makes the adjustment, Jackson is primed for a big season playing in a high-powered offense with a quarterback almost perfectly suited to his skill-set. He should be considered a high-end WR3 option in most 12-team leagues.
