Jacksonville Jaguars WR/CB Travis Hunter will reportedly get the chance to begin his NFL career by working primarily with the team's wide receivers, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Huddle Up: The early intention is to have Hunter major at receiver and minor at cornerback. In other words, the No. 2 overall pick will be a receiver first but also meet with the defensive backs. This news will almost certainly push Hunter ahead of Tetairoa McMillan in many rookie drafts, but there are a few reasons why that may not be a good idea. First and foremost, Hunter will struggle for consistent alpha usage while sharing targets with Brian Thomas Jr. The Colorado product is also still raw as a receiver. Last but not least, Hunter struggled to stay healthy for a full season. Playing both sides of the ball in the NFL only figures to amplify his durability risk.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Travis Etienne is a possible trade option during the 2025 NFL Draft, in the opinion of ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Huddle Up: Etienne is coming off a disappointing 2024 season where he finished with 558 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. He probably will be a starter next season but should be part of a committee wherever he plays in 2025. He could be a late round pick in most leagues.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Gabe Davis was not among the players new head coach Liam Coen mentioned when he was asked about the depth of the receiving room and who the primary options would be for the No. 2 receiving spot. "I think you look naturally right now at Parker Washington and Dyami Brown at the receiver positions. Then saying Brenton Strange hopefully continues to ascend. How do we use our two running backs to be able to supplement some of that usage, get more people involved in the game especially early on, so defenses can't just cloud (Brian Thomas Jr.) and be all over him," Coen said.
Huddle Up: The addition of Brown in free agency was a pretty clear indication that the new regime was probably not a fan of Davis, so this checks. Davis would have already likely been cut if his dead cap hit for this season was over $20 million. Expect that to happen in 2026 when the Jaguars could save a bit against the cap. Either way, Davis is highly unlikely to be relevant in fantasy barring a rash of injuries at receiver in Jacksonville this fall.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) said he expects to be a limited participant during offseason workouts but should be ready for training camp and the 2025 regular season.
Huddle Up: Lawrence is recovering from surgery on his non-throwing shoulder and will ease back into practice over the next few months. He will be working under a new offensive scheme next season and probably will be a No. 2 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen said he's working with QB Trevor Lawrence on his footwork to improve his mechanics. "We're diving into his footwork, everything with the quarterback position, so much is built on the lower half and the mind," Coen said.
Huddle Up: Lawrence has been sacked 112 times in 60 career games, and he could use some refinement as well as some help up front. He turns 26 in October and is still a QB2 in fantasy.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Dyami Brown has "untapped potential", in the opinion of general manager James Gladstone.
Huddle Up: New head coach Liam Coen had similar things to say about Brown, suggesting the latter is a player capable of attacking the field at all three levels. While the commitment in free agency (one year, $10 million) was not huge, fantasy managers began to see what Brown could do during the Washington Commanders' playoff run. Brown will undoubtedly play second fiddle to Brian Thomas Jr., but he should be able to post fantasy WR5 numbers at the very least as a clear starter in Coen's offense.

Free-agent WR Dyami Brown (Commanders) agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $12 million with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to sources Monday, March 10.
Huddle Up: With Brian Thomas Jr. returning as the main attraction, it will be difficult for Brown to command a consistent target share. He proved to have some juice down the stretch of the season, but he's best viewed as a waiver-wire flier at this point in the offseason.

Washington Commanders impending free-agent WR Dyami Brown averaged 16.4 yards per reception during the postseason, catching 14 of his 18 targets for 229 yards and a touchdown during Washington's three playoff games.
Huddle Up: Brown averaged 10.3 yards per catch in the regular season, finishing with 30 receptions for 301 yards. His big-play ability was on display in the playoffs, and wherever he suits up in 2025, Brown could provide some explosive plays if he is given a consistent role.

Washington Commanders impending free-agent WR Dyami Brown may receive a bigger offer than the Commanders are willing to make during free agency, in the opinion of CommandersWire's Bryan Manning.
Huddle Up: Brown is coming off a productive postseason with 14 catches, 229 yards and one touchdown in that span. He likely will receive interest from multiple teams if he hits the free-agent market and could be a late round pick in fantasy leagues next season.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) said he is making good progress in his recovery from shoulder surgery but still needs to improve the range of motion and strength in the shoulder.
Huddle Up: Lawrence probably will not do a lot during the early offseason workouts, but he should be fine for training camp. He will be working in a new offensive scheme next season and probably will be a No. 2 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

University of Colorado WR/CB Travis Hunter was listed as a defense back for the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine on Thursday, Feb. 13.
Huddle Up: While this does not mean Hunter cannot or will not do some drills with the receivers in Indianapolis, it provides some insight into how most NFL teams view him just over two months before the NFL Draft. It is also possible - albeit unlikely - that he performs so well at both positions at the combine that teams are more open to him playing offense and defense as he did in college.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. impressed new head coach Lian Coen with his work from the slot last year. "To be able to put him in a slot and run lookie, run choice, run the option routes, run the middle of the field a little bit," Coen said of Thomas. "And then also be able to throw screens to him and he's going to go do something with it."
Huddle Up: Thomas had a great rookie season, and the sky seems to be the limit if they can build around he and Trevor Lawrence. Thomas will be a WR2 consideration in drafts next season, and it sounds like the new regime will only feature him more.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence will be the focal point new head coach Liam Coen builds around. "We've got to make every part of this about improvement, and he will be a part of that process," Coen said. "He's earned that right. I cannot respect his toughness and mentality and work ethic more than I do already from afar. This will all be about Trevor right now."
Huddle Up: T-Law had a rocky season ended prematurely due to shoulder surgery. He had a torn labrum in his non-throwing arm, and it shouldn't be much of an issue to start next season. This team has some pieces to build around with Lawrence and Pro Bowl rookie Brian Thomas Jr. If they bolster the offense, it's certainly possible Lawrence could return to the upward trajectory and enter the low-end QB1 conversation. Take him as a high-end QB2 with rebound potential.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. became just the fourth rookie in NFL history to finish with at least 1,200 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.
Huddle Up: Not only did Thomas put up big numbers for a rookie, but he finished third in the NFL in receiving yards despite Trevor Lawrence missing time. He already looks like a WR1 heading into his second season.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. caught seven passes for 103 yards against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 18. He also targeted 11 times during the game.
Huddle Up: Thomas had a strong end to the season with three 100-yard games in his last four games and four touchdowns during that span. He will be the main option in the passing game for the Jaguars next season and likely will be selected early in drafts.

Washington Commanders WR Dyami Brown (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Brown was not able to play last week and probably will sit again if he does not practice at some point this week. Fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation but should look for other options and can avoid Brown.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Parker Washington secured all three targets for 31 yards and score vs. the Tennessee Titans in Week 17 on Sunday, Dec. 29.
Huddle Up: Washington is a fringe gamble in any setting next week, but he has shown well for himself of late, and there's some upside as a WR3 or flex vs. an Indianapolis defense that made a Drew Lock-led passing game look elite vs. the New York Giants in Week 17.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. caught seven of 10 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown vs. the Tennessee Titans in Week 17 on Sunday, Dec. 29. He added 18 yards on his lone rushing attempt.
Huddle Up: The Jags head to Indy for the finale, a meaningless Week 18 contest for both teams. One of the best rookies of the season has a chance to cap of a stellar season on a high note a game after the Colts let fellow rookie receiver Malik Nabers go hog wild. Give Thomas WR1 treatment if you're playing fantasy in Week 18.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Tank Bigsby ran for 33 yards on 11 attempts and failed to catch his only target vs. the Tennessee Titans in Week 17 on Sunday, Dec. 29.
Huddle Up: Indianapolis presents a reasonable situation to field Bigsby as a flier for a cheap touchdown, but that's about all one should expect from the young back. Jacksonville's line isn't getting the job done, and RB Travis Etienne remains involved enough to cap Bigsby's upside. You're bound to find better options.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Brenton Strange was held without a catch on his only target vs. the Tennessee Titans in Week 17 on Sunday, Dec. 29.
Huddle Up: After flashing early in his bid to replace an injured TE Evan Engram (shoulder), Strange has been a disaster for fantasy owners. Stay away in Week 18, unless you're in a narrow DFS contest, and even then it's still a huge risk to assume.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Travis Etienne rushed 15 times for 49 yards and caught a 26-yard pass vs. the Tennessee Titans in Week 17 on Sunday, Dec. 29. He was targeted twice.
Huddle Up: Etienne's flop of a season has positioned him in unplayable territory, regardless of your league's scope.

Washington Commanders WR Dyami Brown (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 27, and has been ruled out for Week 17.
Huddle Up: Olamide Zaccheaus and Jamison Crowder probably will see a few more targets with Brown unavailable. Both receivers are coming off two-touchdown performances and could be possible flex options in most leagues.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Brenton Strange (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 27, and is not on the injury report for Week 17.
Huddle Up: Strange had a disappointing Week 16 performance after catching 11 passes for 73 yards in the previous game. He will see a decent amount of targets against the Tennessee Titans and can be a low-end No. 1 tight end in some leagues.

Washington Commanders WR Dyami Brown (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 26.
Huddle Up: Brown has missed the first two practices of the week and may be facing an uphill battle in terms of his availability for Week 17. Fantasy players should have better options available and can avoid Brown.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Brenton Strange (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 25.
Huddle Up: Strange was held to only 22 yards last week after posting 73 yards on 10 catches the previous week. He should see a handful of targets if he plays this week and could be a possible low-end No. 1 tight end in some leagues.

Washington Commanders WR Dyami Brown (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 25. The Commanders did not hold a practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation.
Huddle Up: Brown is coming off one of his better games of the season last week but may not be available depending on the severity of the injury. He will see a handful of targets if he plays this week but can be avoided in most leagues.

Washington Commanders WR Dyami Brown caught four of his five targets for 56 yards in Week 16 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Brown also lost a fumble.
Huddle Up: Almost all of Brown's production came on a 51-yard hook-up early in the second quarter. While it appears there is no chance Brown will meet the expectations many had for him at the pro level, he has proven to be a capable deep threat and will come through with a big play from time to time. He does not need to be added in fantasy for Week 17 ahead of their game versus the Atlanta Falcons.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. had nine receptions for 132 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets in Week 16 against the Las Vegas Raiders. He is the first rookie in franchise history to post 1,000 receiving yards in a single season. His 73 receptions are also a new franchise record for a first-year player.
Huddle Up: Thomas also has broken the franchise record for a rookie with nine touchdowns. He has emerged as a legit WR2 in all fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams. The Jaguars host the Tennessee Titans in Week 17.
