Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young had his fifth-year option exercised Wednesday, April 29.
Huddle Up: Young is coming off a terrific 2025 season and will remain with the Panthers for at least two more seasons. He will have a chance to improve his numbers this upcoming season but will still be a No. 2 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) is looking good in his recovery, and head coach Dave Canales said he is looking forward having Brooks back on the field.
Huddle Up: Brooks has not played much since entering the NFL but will be the No. 2 running back for the Panthers if he can stay healthy in 2026. He can be a late round option in some fantasy drafts but will not be a starting option most weeks.

Tennessee WR Chris Brazzell II was selected by the Carolina Panthers with the 83rd overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Brazzell has the size and speed to stretch the field, and while he might not pile up targets and receptions as a rookie, he could certainly deliver his share of big plays. Throw in the fact that he could eventually become the No. 2 option across from Tetairoa McMillan, and Brazzell is firmly in the mix to be a second-round pick in rookie drafts.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young said he did not need to undergo any surgeries to repair the ankle injury he dealt with during the 2025 season.
Huddle Up: Young took a big step forward with his play this past season and should remain the Panthers quarterback for the foreseeable future. He will have a chance to post better numbers in 2026 but will likely be a No. 2 fantasy quarterback.

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan said he lost 10-15 pound during his rookie season and spent the offseason building muscle.
Huddle Up: He caught two balls or fewer in five of the last six games in what was a really good rookie season. He finished at a 70-1,104-7 line and was the WR15 in PPR leagues. He'll have peaks and valleys, especially factoring in his slide late in the season, so view him as a midrange WR2.

Carolina Panthers exclusive rights free-agent WR Jalen Coker signed his one-year tender offer Monday, April 20. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Coker received a bigger role during the second half of the 2025 season and has a chance to be a top-three receiver for the Panthers in 2026. He can be a possible late round pick in some fantasy leagues.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young has been working out with WRs Tetairoa McMillan, Xavier Legette and Jimmy Horn Jr. this offseason.
Huddle Up: Young is coming off the best season of his career and is looking to strengthen his connection with the receivers. Young will still likely be a No. 2 fantasy quarterback in fantasy leagues. McMillan is the only Panthers receiver that should be a weekly starting option in leagues.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) is expected to be able to participate in offseason workouts, according to head coach Dave Canales.
Huddle Up: Brooks has not played much since joining the Panthers because of injuries but has a chance to earn the No. 2 running back job for the 2026 season. Fantasy players can keep an eye on his situation because he could be a late round pick in some leagues.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young has not started contract extension talks with the Panthers at this point, according to executive vice president of football operations Brandt Tilis.
Huddle Up: Young will be under contract for two more seasons if the team picks up his fifth-year option, so the two teams have time to work on a possible extension. He is coming off the best season of his NFL career and will look on improving his stats in 2026. He should be considered a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

Carolina Panthers TE Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) is on track to be a part of the team's offseason program, according to general manager Dan Morgan.
Huddle Up: Sanders is coming back from a tough ankle injury, but hearing he will be available so early in the offseason is a good sign of where things are. He has a chance to be a sneaky target late in drafts for players who wait on tight ends.

Free agent RB AJ Dillon (Eagles) has agreed to a one-year deal with the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday, March 18. No financial terms were disclosed.
Huddle Up: The Panthers make the run game a big part of their offense, and with the departure of Rico Dowdle, there is an opening for Dillon to earn a role. Fantasy players should not jump too early, but he is a name to monitor.

Impending free-agent WR John Metchie (Jets) and the Carolina Panthers have reportedly agreed to a one-year deal, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN on Wednesday, March 11.
Huddle Up: Metchie had his biggest opportunity in the NFL in 2025 after being bought in via trade by the New York Jets, and he put up back-to-back weeks of WR18 fantasy production just a week after being acquired. However, Metchie blended back into the background, never finishing better than WR43 for the rest of the season. At this stage of his career, Metchie is more of a depth receiver rather than a featured weapon, and that's likely what he'll be now that he's signed with the Carolina Panthers. He's unlikely to make a difference in fantasy unless injuries strike the Panthers ahead of Metchie on the depth chart in 2026.

New York Jets restricted free agent WR John Metchie III is reportedly unlikely to receive an RFA tender, which will make him a free agent, according to Jordan Schultz on Thursday, March 5.
At this stage of his career, Metchie is more of a depth receiver rather than a featured weapon. He's unlikely to make a difference in fantasy unless injuries strike the players ahead of him on whatever team Metchie ends up with in 2026.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) is expected to be able to contribute in 2026, according to general manager Dan Morgan "His rehab, he's doing a great job with that, making a lot of progress, so we feel good about him," Morga said. "We're happy for him. We're optimistic for him."
Huddle Up: Injuries have derailed Brooks' career to date, and he has managed just nine carries since being drafted in 2024. At this point, there is no way of knowing if he will ever be able to regain the form that made him a second-round pick.

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan was named the 2025 Offensive Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press.
Huddle Up: McMillan quickly established himself as Carolina's No. 1 receiver, and he was the only rookie to reach 1,000 receiving yards. His stock is soaring in dynasty formats, and McMillan could become a weekly WR2 as soon as next season.

Carolina Panthers WR Jalen Coker will enter training camp as the team's WR2 on the depth chart, according to head coach Dave Canales.
Huddle Up: Coker being behind Tetairoa McMillan will affect his fantasy value, but he could be worth a stash in deeper leagues as a WR3.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young's fifth-year option will be picked up in the offseason, according to general manager Dan Morgan.
Huddle Up: Young ended up the QB18 for the season in fantasy, which is about where you expect Young. He'll be a QB2 with maybe some upside with another year of development and comfort in this offense.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young set career highs in completion percentage (63.6), passing yards (3,011) and passing touchdowns (23) during the 2025 season.
Huddle Up: Young's numbers were far from elite, but he was able to improve from his sophomore season. Another year with Tetairoa McMillan and a full season of Jalen Coker could help Young take another step forward in 2026, and he should be considered a decent QB2 option.

The Carolina Panthers are expected to pick up the fifth-year option on QB Bryce Young's rookie contract, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Huddle Up: In the last fifteen years, none of the eight quarterbacks who have been selected with the first overall pick have had the fifth-year option declined, so this news was not surprising. Young projects to be a QB2 option in most fantasy leagues for the 2026 season, although continued development could make him more valuable.

Carolina Panthers WR Jalen Coker caught a touchdown in three of the final five games of the regular season, including a 33-yard score in Carolina's Week 13 win over the Los Angeles Rams.
Huddle Up: Coker also had a season-high 74 receiving yards against the Rams, and if the Panthers are going to knock off the Rams again in the wild-card round, Coker may have to deliver a big play or two in the passing game. He could be a sneaky fantasy option in playoff contests.

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan was the only rookie receiver to reach 1,000 yards in 2025, and he also led all rookies with 27 catches for 369 yards on third and fourth down.
Huddle Up: McMillan only had two 100-yard games, but he reached 60 receiving yards nine times. He also scored five touchdowns over the final seven games. Already able to produce while operating as the unquestioned No. 1 option in the Carolina passing game, McMillan will have WR1 upside in playoff contests and should be a weekly WR2 in 2026.

Las Vegas Raiders QB Kenny Pickett finished 1-of-4 for three yards with no touchdowns and one interception in Week 18 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. He also rushed for nine yards on his only carry before he was replaced at the end of the first quarter.
Huddle Up: In his defense, Pickett was somewhat limited by the same supporting cast that hindered Geno Smith for most of the second half of the season. With that said, he recorded twice as many sacks (two) as he did completions while barely moving the offense. Las Vegas could be undergoing some sweeping changes in the offseason, meaning Pickett could be looking for a job again sooner than later. It is also safe to say his chances of holding even a backup job in the NFL are running out.

New York Jets WR John Metchie III ended up with three receptions for 20 yards on four targets in Week 18 against the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: Metchie ended up with 29 receptions for 256 yards and two touchdowns across nine games since coming over in a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles. He could become part of the plans in 2026, along with fellow in-season addition Adonai Mitchell. Remember, though, Garrett Wilson should be back and healthy, too, and the team could also add personnel in free agency or the draft, too, so we'll re-visit Metchie's fantasy outlook in the summer.

Carolina Panthers TE Tommy Tremble caught three passes for 38 yards and one touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 18. He was targeted four times during the game.
Huddle Up: Tremble was not a big part of the passing game this season but was the top tight end on the team in terms of receiving yards. He should have a good chance to be the starting tight end next season but may not be more than a No. 2 fantasy tight end.

Carolina Panthers WR Jalen Coker caught six passes for 47 yards and one touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 18. He was targeted seven times during the game.
Huddle Up: Coker was a bigger part of the passing game over the last month of the season and finished with three touchdowns in his last five games. He will be back with the Panthers next season and should be a candidate for the starting job opposite Tetairoa McMillan. Coker can be a late round pick in drafts next season that can become a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver.

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan caught four passes for 83 yards on six targets against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 18. He did lose a fumble during the game.
Huddle Up: McMillan had a terrific rookie season and has become one of the better receivers in the NFL. He will continue to be the main option in the passing game for the Panthers for years to come and can be a No. 1 or No. 2 receiver in fantasy leagues next season.

Carolina Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard rushed for 10 yards on five carries against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 18. He also caught two passes for seven yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Hubbard started off the season as the starter but has been sharing playing time with Rico Dowdle during the second half of the season. He is under contract for three more seasons and should be a candidate for the starting job next season. He can be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy back depending on his workload.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young went 24-for-35 for 264 yards, two touchdowns and one interception against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 18.
Huddle Up: Young showed improvement for the second straight season and should not have any competition for the starting quarterback job next season. He likely will start off as a No. 2 fantasy quarterback in 2026 but could become more valuable if he continues his development.

Las Vegas Raiders QB Kenny Pickett completed 2-of-2 passes for 16 yards, no touchdowns or interceptions in Week 17 against the New York Giants in place of the injured QB Geno Smith (ankle).
Huddle Up: Pickett came on in the fourth quarter after Smith reportedly suffered a high-ankle sprain. That's not an easy injury to recover from, so don't be surprised to see Pickett as the starting quarterback in the Week 18 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Only those in the deepest of fantasy leagues, and DFS players looking for a low-cost value need to pay him any mind.

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan caught one pass for five yards against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17. He was targeted four times during the game.
Huddle Up: McMillan was dealing with an illness coming into the game, but it unlikely affected his play on the field. He should find more success in the passing game next week and will be a starting option in fantasy leagues.
