New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Aug. 20.
Huddle Up: The Giants planned to hold out of the joint practices, so he should return to practice next week. He has been making good progress and seems to be on track for the start of the regular season. He should be a weekly starting option in all leagues if he is healthy.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) took part in full-speed team drills on both Monday, Aug. 17, and Tuesday, Aug. 18, in a red, non-contact practice jersey. He could transition to full contact as early as next week, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan, who writes that the "expectation" is for Nabers to play in Week 1, barring a setback.
Huddle Up: In 19 career games, Nabers has 127 receptions, 1,475 yards, and nine touchdowns. While it's possible that it will take some time for him to get back to full speed coming back from a torn ACL, not to mention developing chemistry with Jaxson Dart, Nabers can be targeted as midrange WR2 that could push into the top 10.

New York Giants TE Isaiah Likely caught both of his targets for 11 yards during the preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings Saturday, Aug. 15.
Huddle Up: After being trapped behind Mark Andrews in Baltimore, Likely will have a chance to spread his wings with the Giants. Jaxson Dart wasn't shy about leaning on his tight ends as a rookie, which should bode well for Likely. Don't be surprised if he has a career year and finishes as a TE1.

New York Giants WR Malachi Fields caught all three of his targets for 34 yards and a touchdown during the preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings Saturday, Aug. 15.
Huddle Up: Perhaps the most encouraging sign for Fields was that his touchdown reception came on a throw from Jaxson Dart. Granted, Malik Nabers didn't play, but it looks like Fields is in the mix for a starting spot to start the year. The rookie could be worth snatching up as a WR5.

New York Giants RB Cam Skattebo rushed four times for 19 yards during the preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings Saturday, Aug. 15.
Huddle Up: Skattebo is working his way back from a serious ankle injury that ended his rookie season early, but he is back and ready to lead the New York backfield in 2026. Tyrone Tracy Jr. will cut into his workload, but Skattebo possesses three-down ability and should handle the goal line work. Skattebo should be in the RB2 mix.

New York Giants QB Jaxson Dart completed three of his four passes for 26 yards and a touchdown during the preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings Saturday, Aug. 15.
Huddle Up: While Dart was sharp throwing the ball in limited action, he also took a pair of sacks and briefly had to leave the game. Dart flashed his upside as a rookie, but he will have to find a way to avoid injuries without sacrificing all of his scrambling ability. Dart offers QB1 upside, but the risk is real.

New York Giants QB Jaxson Dart (head) left the preseason game early Saturday, Aug. 15 but was cleared to return after being checked for a possible concussion.
Huddle Up: Fantasy can keep an eye on the situation to see if Dart experiences any symptoms in the next few days. He has the ability to make plays with both his arm and legs, which makes him a solid No. 1 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) could start participating in team drills as soon as next week, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
Huddle Up: Nabers has been making solid progress in his recovery and seems to have a good chance to be ready for Week 1. He is one of the better receivers in the NFL when he is healthy and should be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.

New York Giants RB Cam Skattebo (leg) exited practice early Friday, Aug. 7, after stretching his left leg, but head coach John Harbaugh said he didn't think Skattebo was dealing with anything serious.
Huddle Up: Although it doesn't sound like Skattebo had a setback as he returns from last year's significant ankle injury, there has to be a little concern over his health due to his aggressive running style. If he stays healthy, Skattebo could be a sneaky RB1, but he is best viewed as a high-risk, high-reward RB2.

New York Giants TE Isaiah Likely is expected to be a utility weapon rather than a traditional tight end, and the team seems intent on featuring him in all three levels. The Giants move him throughout the formation, and he has displayed clear early chemistry with QB Jaxson Dart.
Huddle Up: When Mark Andrews was out two seasons ago, Likely broke out with a 42-477-6 line in John Harbaugh's offense. He's the guy with the Giants and could be the second or third option in the passing attack. He's a midrange TE1 with some upside.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) said he does not have a timetable for his return and that he will play when he is ready. He has been participating in individual drills during training camp.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation during training camp to see if Nabers will be ready for Week 1. He is a weekly starting option in all leagues when healthy, but fantasy players may not have him available early in the season.

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton (hernia) will not be placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list despite missing most of the offseason workouts because of hernia surgery.
Huddle Up: Slayton is in line to be one of the starting receivers for the Giants if he stays healthy and will probably see a few targets each game. He can be a late round pick in leagues but is unlikely to be a starting option most weeks.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) will not start training camp on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list.
Huddle Up: Nabers will likely be eased into practice but seems to have a chance to be ready for the start of the regular season. Fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation because Nabers is a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues when healthy.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers has "a realistic possibility" to play in Week 1, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
Huddle Up: Nabers is bouncing back from a torn ACL, and his rehab journey has been long, but this seems to be the first big ray of hope. A healthy Nabers in the lineup has the potential to be a WR1, but fantasy players should temper expectations and embrace a floor as a WR2.

New York Giants WR Malachi Fields is considered a wild card to start opposite WR Malik Nabers, with veteran WR Darnell Mooney expected to be in the slot. WR Darius Slayton returns, and he is a downfield threat, but he also has had trouble with drops in the past.
Huddle Up: Fields is a player who will need a huge training camp and preseason. For fantasy purposes, he is a strong selection in the later rounds in redraft leagues, and in the middle rounds in dynasty formats.

New York Giants RB Cam Skattebo (ankle) said Sunday, July 19 that he is fine after failing to land a backflip at Fanatics Fest on Saturday. He appeared to land awkwardly on his surgically-repaired right ankle during the appearance. "I'm just going to keep being me, and if they want to say I'm brain-dead, and I don't have no brain, then who cares, f--- it," he said.
Huddle Up: Fantasy managers, and the Giants brass, likely do not want to see anymore backflips from Skattebo. It's completely unnecessary, even if it is his "signature" move. He is a young player, and perhaps he'll be more strongly urged to refrain from off-field situations which could affect his team, and his own livelihood. When he is healthy, he should be a solid RB2 or flex fantasy option, but after one year, one major injury, it might be best to let him be someone else's worry or concern.

New York Giants TE Isaiah Likely has "already shown a connection" with QB Jaxson Dart, according to John Fennelly of GiantsWire.
Huddle Up: Likely flashed big-play potential at times in Baltimore, but sharing duties with Mark Andrews limited his ceiling. Likely should be the top option at the tight end position for the Giants, and don't be surprised if he is in the TE1 mix in 2026.

New York Giants WR Darnell Mooney is expected to be the starting slot receiver after WR Wan'Dale Robinson signed with the Tennessee Titans in free agency.
Huddle Up: Mooney is coming off a disappointing season in Atlanta, but when he has had decent quarterback play, his numbers have been respectable. If Jaxson Dart stays healthy and takes a step forward, Mooney could be a sneaky WR4, especially if Malik Nabers isn't back at full strength.

New York Giants QB Jaxson Dart could be used to carry the ball in both RPOs and designed quarterback runs, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
Huddle Up: Dart was beaten up last season, and some folks pointed to his running opportunities as a reason why. Hearing that the coaching staff isn't going to shy away from it is a good thing for his fantasy value, but it also presents an injury risk. He can be a low-end QB1 in 2026 with upside given his health and running opportunities.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) will be working his way into practice as soon as training camp opens, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
Huddle Up: Nabers is behind RB Cam Skattebo, according to Harbaugh, but he's in a good place. Nabers will be a WR3 with upside if he's able to avoid the PUP to start the season.

New York Giants RB Cam Skattebo (ankle) is on schedule with his rehab and is expected to participate early in training camp, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
Huddle Up: Skattebo probably will be eased into practice when training camp starts but should be fine for the start of the regular season. He will likely see a majority of the carries this upcoming season and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 running back in fantasy leagues.

New York Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. is expected to have a sizable role in the backfield. While RB Cam Skattebo is expected to see slightly more than half of the carries, Tracy is valuable not only in the run game, but for his hands. In terms of all-purpose yardage, he has two 1,000-yard seasons in his first two NFL seasons. He is also expected to be in the mix for work on kickoff returns.
Huddle Up: Tracy is worth a look as a late-round pick in PPR fantasy leagues, and as a handcuff for those who select Skattebo. In addition, Tracy is a player to consider for fantasy managers playing in formats rewarding individual return yardage.

New York Giants TE Isaiah Likely is projected to be an x-factor for the team with increased targets if WR Malik Nabers misses time to start the season, according to ESPN's Seth Walder.
Huddle Up: Likely could be used both at the tight end and slot receiver roles in the Giants' offense. As such, he could be a sneaky TE1 play early on in the season if Nabers misses time, as most people are projecting.

New York Giants TE Theo Johnson said the tight ends will be a big part of the passing game this upcoming season.
Huddle Up: Likely will likely be the top tight end for the Giants this upcoming season and should be a popular target for Jaxson Dart. He can be considered a low-end No. 1 or high-end No. 2 tight end in fantasy leagues.

New York Giants RB Cam Skattebo was praised for his running style by head coach John Harbaugh. "He's a tough tackle," Harbaugh said. "That's what you look for. How many guys can make yards when they're not supposed to make yards on their own?"
Huddle Up: Although Skattebo is coming off a serious ankle injury, he is trending toward playing in Week 1. He flashed his upside as a rookie prior to the injury, and while he will share some snaps with Tyrone Tracy Jr., Skattebo should be a high-end RB3 with RB2 upside.

New York Giants RB Cam Skattebo (ankle) said he will not change his play style even though he suffered a serious ankle injury during the 2025 season.
Huddle Up: Skattebo was able to do a few things during the offseason workouts, so fantasy players should see how much work he can handle during training camp. He should see a majority of the work at running back this upcoming season if healthy and can be at least a No. 3 back in fantasy leagues.

New York Giants WR Malachi Fields could see a big role in the offense sooner rather than later. The receivers' room is a bit thin, and there is no certainty WR Malik Nabers (knee) will be able to return to start the regular season.
Huddle Up: With Nabers not a lock for the regular season start, and Darius Slayton, Gunner Olszewski and Beaux Collins nicked up initially, the rookie Fields might be doing a lot of on-the-job training, rather than studying, watching and developing. He is expected to get an opportunity to be a go-to option in the red zone, too, as the Giants need help in that area after finishing 27th in red-zone scoring percentage in 2025. Fields is an intriguing late-round option in redraft fantasy leagues, and a must-have in long-term keeper formats.

New York Giants RB Cam Skattebo (ankle) is participating in practice Monday, June 8.
Huddle Up: Skattebo continues to make progress in his recovery and may be ready for the start of training camp. He will likely share playing time with Tyrone Tracy Jr. this upcoming season if healthy and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 running back in most fantasy leagues.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) participated in LB Brian Burns' celebrity softball game on Saturday night, and he took part in all scheduled activities, from dodgeball to the home run derby to the game itself. He was seen backpedaling in the dodgeball game, and he was showing off a full range of motion. However, he still didn't show if he can start, stop or cut as his position requires, so it was just a glimpse of where he is at. Head coach John Harbaugh recently said the receiver is still working through rehab, and he is uncertain if Nabers will be ready for the start of training camp.
Huddle Up: Nabers is hopeful to be ready for the start of the regular season, but playing dodgeball and softball, or going through the rigors of an NFL game, while running his route tree are two completely different things. Still, it's a good sign that he is moving around well. Fantasy managers still have two or three months to see him get better. We'll know a lot more in July and August about where he should be safely drafted for fantasy purposes.

New York Giants RB Cam Skattebo (ankle) "snuck into" some positional drills during practice Friday, May 29, and appeared to be moving well, according to Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com.
Huddle Up: Skattebo is recovering from a dislocated ankle, but he continues to claim he will be on the field in Week 1. Assuming he doesn't suffer a setback, he should lead the New York backfield in 2026. Based on the potential he showed as a rookie, Skattebo can be considered a RB2 with RB1 upside.
