The Minnesota Vikings suffered a loss in the NFC wild-card game against the Los Angeles Rams in a game moved to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. due to the terrible Southern California wildfires situation. QB Sam Darnold had a disastrous game, completing 25-of-40 passes for 245 yards, one touchdown and one interception with 19 rushing yards and a lost fumble, while RB Aaron Jones ended up with 13 rushes for 48 yards and 12 receiving yards on six targets. RB Cam Akers chipped in with 39 rushing yards, while WR T.J. Hockenson had five grabs for a game-high 64 yards and a touchdown. WRs Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson each had team-highs with eight targets, with Jefferson posting five catches and 58 yards, while Addison had three grabs for 29 yards. TE Johnny Mundt had two catches for 28 yards, too. LB Blake Cashman led the way on defense with 11 total stops, five solo tackles, a sack and a QB hit, while LB Ivan Pace Jr. had a game-high seven solo tackles with 10 total stops and two tackles for loss.

Minnesota Vikings QB Sam Darnold (quadriceps) was a full participant in practice for the third straight day on Saturday, Jan. 11, and was removed from the injury report.
Huddle Up: Darnold was one of the better options at quarterback in the regular season, but he appeared to crack under the pressure in Week 18. That remains a concern in another big-pressure situation, but the Los Angeles Rams are a very giving defense to quarterbacks, which makes Darnold a viable DFS option this week.

Minnesota Vikings QB Sam Darnold (quadriceps) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 10.
Huddle Up: Darnold appears to be dealing with a minor injury and is in no danger of missing the Wild Card playoff game. He has thrown six touchdowns in the last three games and can be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

Minnesota Vikings QB Sam Darnold completed 18 of his 41 pass attempts for 166 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions versus the Detroit Lions on Sunday, Jan. 5. He also ran three times for 10 yards.
Huddle Up: Arguably the NFL's biggest Cinderella story of the season, Darnold turned into a pumpkin under a relentless barrage of pressure packages from the Lions on Sunday night. While you could argue Justin Jefferson should've hauled in a touchdown pass, Darnold was off target a lot in the season's final game, particularly in the red zone. It was the Vikings' second loss in two meetings with the Lions. As it happens, Minnesota's only other defeat came in LA against the Rams, which is where they're headed this Monday night. Darnold (240 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs) was more effective in that one, but it was still among his shakier games of the year. Despite that, Darnold should still be viewed as one of the better options for DFS players in the Wild Card round.
