Chicago Bears TE Cole Kmet ended up with a single 14-yard on one target in Week 8 against the Washington Commanders.
Huddle Up: Kmet had his worst game since Week 1, when he was also limited to a single catch. His fantasy production is at the mercy of rookie QB Caleb Williams, and when the latter struggles, so does Kmet. The Chicago pass attack looks to bounce back in Week 9 at Arizona. He should be treated as a TE2 for that matchup in most fantasy leagues.

Chicago Bears TE Cole Kmet caught five passes for 70 yards and two touchdowns in Week 6's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Huddle Up: Kmet had his most productive game since Week 3 versus the Indianapolis Colts, when he had 10 receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown. He has TE1 ability in fantasy leagues containing 12 or more teams but his lack of consistency will keep him in the high-end TE2 conversation in most formats. Kmet's next game action will come in Week 8 versus the Washington Commanders.

Chicago Bears LS Scott Daly (knee) sustained a knee injury during Week 6's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and will not return to action. TE Cole Kmet will perform long-snapping duties for the remainder of the game.

Chicago Bears TE Cole Kmet ended up with three receptions for 57 yards on four targets in Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers.
Huddle Up: Kmet has managed just three catches in each of the past two games after his Week 3 explosion in Indianapolis when he had 10 catches, 97 yards and a score. He has TE1 ability in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams, but he has been a little bit erratic this season. Treat him more as a TE2 in fantasy leagues for Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Chicago Bears TE Cole Kmet (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 4, and is not on the injury report for Week 5.
Huddle Up: Kmet has one big game so far this season but has been fairly quiet in the other three games. He will see a few targets this week but probably can be kept on the bench in most leagues.

Chicago Bears DL Zacch Pickens (groin) and DB Terell Smith (hip) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers. WR DeAndre Carter (ribs) and OL Teven Jenkins (ribs) were limited in practice on Friday, Oct. 4, and are listed as questionable. TE Cole Kmet (knee), DL Gervon Dexter (undisclosed), TE Marcedes Lewis (rest) and DE Montez Sweat (ankle) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Chicago Bears TE Cole Kmet (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 3.
Huddle Up: Kmet should see a handful of targets in the passing game this week but is probably a No. 2 tight end in most fantasy leagues and can remain on the bench.

Chicago Bears TE Cole Kmet (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 2.
Huddle Up: Kmet likely will be available for the Week 5 game, but fantasy players will know more later in the week. He has been held under 35 yards in three of the four games this season but could still be a possible low-end No. 1 tight end in some deeper leagues.

Chicago Bears TE Cole Kmet caught three passes for 34 yards against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4. He was targeted three times during the game.
Huddle Up: Kmet was coming off a big Week 3 performance but was held mostly in check against the Rams. He will continue to see a handful of targets in the passing game in the upcoming game and could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in most leagues.

Chicago Bears TE Cole Kmet ended up with 10 receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets in Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Huddle Up: This is what Kmet is capable of doing. He has low-end TE1 or high-end TE2 ability in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams. If Kmet is able to develop a rapport with rookie QB Caleb Williams, especially in the red zone, Kmet could be an effective fantasy mainstay. He'll look to build on this momentum heading into Week 4 against the Los Angeles Rams.
