Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts caught four of his five targets for 91 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-26 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 8
Huddle Up: After a slow start, Pitts has logged at least 65 receiving yards in four straight games. With Kirk Cousins under center, Pitts has finally becomed the weekly TE1 fantasy owners have been waiting for.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts registered team highs with seven receptions, 65 yards and nine targets in Week 7 against the Seattle Seahawks.
Huddle Up: Pitts has strung together three straight games with 65 or more receiving yards, looking more and more like a low-end TE1 in most fantasy leagues. He'll look to keep it rolling in Week 8 at Tampa Bay. he had seven receptions for a season-high 88 yards on eight targets in the first meeting with the Bucs in Week 5.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts was good for three receptions and 70 yards on five targets in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers.
Huddle Up: Pitts has managed 10 receptions for 158 yards and 13 targets in the past two games, his best two-game yardage total since Dec. 26, 2021 to Jan. 2, 2022 when he had 171 yards in a two-game span. He is slowly working his way back into the good graces of fantasy managers, and he looks to keep it rolling in Week 7 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts had seven catches (on eight targets) for 88 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday, Oct. 3.
Huddle Up: We have a pulse! Coming off a game in which he was held without a catch, Pitts set season highs in receptions and yards on Thursday night -- incredibly, it was his most yards in a game since he posted a 6-102-0 line on Dec. 26, 2021; that was 33 games ago. Now, the question becomes whether this was a concerted effort from Atlanta to involve their talented tight end, or if it was just a byproduct of the Bucs being deep down the depth chart in the secondary. It'd probably be a leap of faith to stick Pitts in your lineup given his lack of consistency, but if someone cut him loose, you might want to scoop him up and stash him just in case.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts was targeted three times in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints, but he was held without a reception.
Huddle Up: Man, just when you start to believe in Pitts a little bit, a stat line like this comes along. He hasn't scored a touchdown in three games, and he has three or fewer receptions in every outing this season. He is putting up low-end TE2 fantasy numbers right now. Most fantasy managers won't want to bother with him in Week 5 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a short week.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts caught two passes (on five targets) for 59 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Sept. 22.
Huddle Up: After watching the Chiefs get victimized by TEs Isaiah Likely and Mike Gesicki the first two weeks, the signs looked to portend a big game from Pitts. Alas, outside of a nice 50-yard grab, the former first-round pick did nothing of note. There's still time for him to get on the same page with Kirk Cousins, who threw to T.J. Hockenson with great regularity in Minnesota, but it's a waiting game that's been going on for much of the past three seasons. With so few tight ends delivering, you might as well keep the faith on Pitts, who at least has a theoretical high ceiling.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts registered three receptions for just 20 yards on four targets in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, Sept. 16.
Huddle Up: Pitts scored last week, but he still has just six catches for 46 yards on seven targets through two games. Last season, he had to battle Jonnu Smith for targets while enduring substandard quarterback play. With the addition of Kirk Cousins, Pitts was expected to be able to elevate his game, but so far it's the same old song and dance. He remains a TE2 heading into Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts caught three passes for 26 yards and one touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1. He was targeted three times during the game.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 6, and is not on the injury report for Week 1.
Huddle Up: Pitts should be a big part of the passing game this season and can be a No. 1 tight end in all fantasy leagues this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (hamstring) practiced in full on Thursday, Sept. 5, after being limited the day before.
Huddle Up: The upgrade in participation means Pitts is firmly on track to play in Week 1. It has been a disappointing last few years for the former No. 4 overall pick, but a new head coach and a better quarterback injects some optimism into Pitts' outlook. He's a starting option for the season-opener, but consider him a TE2 until he proves to be more.
