Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams ran the ball four times for 24 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16. He also caught a game-high seven passes for 29 yards. He was targeted 11 times.
Huddle Up: With Jaleel McLaughlin (quad) inactive, Williams saw a lot of work in the passing game, setting season highs in targets (11) and receptions (7). While it didn't amount to a lot of yardage, it was still a step up from his recent efforts -- he'd totaled 31 yards in the previous three games combined. With extra rest before a Week 17 matchup with the Bengals, McLaughlin has a good shot to return, which would leave Williams with zero appeal. Even if McLaughlin remains out, Williams would still be no more than a desperation play.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams ran six times for 15 yards in Week 15 against the Indianapolis Colts, while adding two receptions for eight yards on three targets.
Huddle Up: Williams was seeing a few more touches with Jaleel McLaughlin exiting early due to a quadriceps injury. If J-Mac is forced to miss time, Williams and rookie Audric Estime could be called upon to carry more of the load in Week 16, but it's a tough matchup against an angry Los Angeles Chargers defense. The fantasy matchup isn't terribly favorable.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams rushed four times for just a single yard in Week 13 against the Cleveland Browns, although he was able to score a rushing touchdown. He added a 3-yard reception on two targets.
Huddle Up: Williams has been so erratic this season, going from the primary ball carrier to a guy in a timeshare to a player third on the depth chart. He had a total of double-digit touches in the past two games, but he was back to doing nothing on Monday. He simply cannot be trusted, nor can Audric Estime or Jaleel McLaughlin, at this point. Just when it looks like someone is taking a foot forward for fantasy purposes, they take one step back. The Broncos are off until Week 15 due to a bye.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams lost two yards on eight carries and caught two passes for six yards in a 29-19 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12.
Huddle Up: The only positive that fantasy owners can that can take from this performance is that Williams led the team in carries. That being said, his touches have decreased the last few weeks, and none of the Denver running backs are appealing fantasy plays right now.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams ran nine times for a game-high 59 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 against the Atlanta Falcons, while adding four receptions for 28 yards on five targets.
Huddle Up: Williams was limited to just one carry in Week 10, but he had a strong run for score, and he was fired up after the score, appearing to reclaim the top spot on the depth chart in the Mile High City. He had 6.6 yards per rushing attempt, to 4.8 for Jaleel McLaughlin and 2.7 for rookie Audric Estime. The Denver backfield revolving door continues to spin, and Williams appears to be in again.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams rushed for one yard on one carry against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 10. He also caught two passes for six yards during the game.
Huddle Up: It is not known why Williams only received three touches during the game, so fantasy players will need to monitor the situation. He has been the main option in the running game for the last few weeks but is a risky option because he may receive a lesser role moving forward.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams ended up with 12 rushes for a team-high 42 yards in Week 9 against the Baltimore Ravens, while adding two receptions for 42 yards on three targets.
Huddle Up: Williams had a healthy amount of total scrimmage yards, but we're watching rookie Audric Estime. The latter had 7.0 yards per carry in five attempts, to just 3.5 yards per rush for Williams. It's a situation to watch closely, and if you're in the Williams fantasy business, you might want Estime as a handcuff just in case.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams posted 17 rushes for just 44 yards in Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers, and he had four receptions for only eight yards on five targets.
Huddle Up: Williams had a golden opportunity against a bad Carolina rush defense, but he managed just 2.6 yards per attempt. He gave way to Jaleel McLaughlin, who ran for 5.9 yards per attempt while also scoring on a catch. If Williams isn't careful, he could be back into a timeshare. Fantasy managers will want to be very careful with Williams heading into Week 9 in Baltimore, as McLaughlin could have earned himself a larger role.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams carried the ball 14 times for 88 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday, Oct. 17. He also caught three passes for 23 yards.
Huddle Up: With 111 yards and 2 TDs, this was easily Williams' best showing of the year, and arguably his best performance since he tore his ACL back in 2022. Before we break out the champagne, however, bear in mind that the Saints gave up 277 yards on the ground to the Buccaneers in Week 6, which included 136 from Sean Tucker, who now has 166 career rushing yards. New Orleans was thinned by injury and just generally exhausted as they played their third game in 10 days. So, despite a nice night for Williams, let's pump the brakes on viewing him as more than an RB3/flex option.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams rushed six times for 23 yards and caught three passes for 13 yards in a 23-16 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6. He also lost a fumble.
Huddle Up: While Williams wasn't much of a factor, he still led all Denver backs in carries and touches, and his lack of involvement was likely a result of 23-0 hole the Broncos dug themselves. Williams should remain a flex option moving forward.
