Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth ended up with two receptions for 19 yards on two targets in Week 8 against the New York Giants.
Huddle Up: Freiermuth has two or more receptions in all eight of his games, but his yardage total was the second lowest of the season. He hasn't scored since Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys. Treat him as more of a TE2 in most fantasy leagues, but he and the Steelers are off in Week 9.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth hauled in two of his three targets for 51 yards in Week 7 against the New York Jets.
Huddle Up: Making the most of limited chances seems to be a common theme for Freiermuth this year. He has drawn more than five targets only once in 2024 - including exactly three in each of the last three weeks - but has caught 24 of his 29 targets for the season. Fantasy managers will not feel great about it, but Freiermuth is still worthy of starting most weeks.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth caught two of his three targets for 16 yards in a 32-13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 6.
Huddle Up: Freiermuth has his worst outing of the season, but the Steelers were able to build a lead and lean on the running game. He should remain a low-end TE1.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth (calf) practiced in full on Friday, Oct. 11, after being limited the day before and was removed from the injury report for Week 6.
Huddle Up: While Freiermuth has just one double-digit fantasy performance in PPR over five games this season, he still ranks as TE7 overall, which just goes to show the terrible state of the position right now. Knowing that, he's a high-end TE2 play in Week 6.

Pittsburgh Steelers S Damontae Kazee (ankle), LB Nick Herbig (hamstring), RB Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) and DE DeMarvin Leal (neck) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 11, and have been ruled out for Week 6. Also, LB Alex Highsmith (groin) and TE MyCole Pruitt (knee) were limited but have been ruled out, RB Jaylen Warren (knee) practiced in full but is questionable, and QB Russell Wilson (calf), RB Najee Harris (rest), S Minkah Fitzpatrick (rest), OG Isaac Seumalo (rest), LB T.J. Watt (rest), DL Cameron Heyward (rest), DL Larry Ogunjobi (rest) and TE Pat Freiermuth (calf) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth (calf) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation to see if Freiermuth will be available to play against the Las Vegas Raiders. He has posted decent numbers over the last few weeks and could be a possible low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth had three receptions (on three targets) for 22 yards and a touchdown versus the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Oct. 6.
Huddle Up: Despite posting a season-low in receiving yards, Freiermuth gave fantasy owners some value by scoring for a second consecutive week. The tight end is the No. 2 option in the passing game behind George Pickens, and though that designation hasn't resulted in big-time production, the dearth of tight end production league-wide at least affords Freiermuth some consideration as a low-end TE1.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth ended up with five receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets in Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Huddle Up: Freiermuth has four or more receptions in all four games this season, and he has at least 33 receiving yards in each of the past three outings. He has developed a pretty decent rapport with Justin Fields, and he has posted low-end TE1 numbers in most fantasy leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth caught four passes for 33 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3. He was targeted five times during the game.
Huddle Up: Freiermuth has not posted great numbers so far this season but is still one of the main options in the passing game. He probably is a No. 2 tight end at this point but could become a starter later in the season.
